It didn't bother Anwar to follow along behind his younger sister, though some pads might have objected to letting a younger Banu show them around. To him, it was a means to an end. And he wasn't a Pad yet anyway. The knowledge would be worth it regardless. Besides, she seemed so happy about it, he couldn't help but offer her his small crooked smile in return when she giggled and looked back at him.
He padded eagerly after her as she pushed through some bushes, peering around curiously as she ran back towards him. At her lick he pulled his head back some, though he shouldn't have been surprised by the affection. It wasn't as if he couldn't have seen it coming from her after all. And it wasn't like he minded it...
"Holes?" he asked instead, moving cautiously forward until he could peer into one. He'd never been here before. Of course, he had seen holes before, but never these. They looked big enough to explore in... "They do look interesting..." he agreed absently, reaching a careful paw into the nearest one, as though he could feel the air inside. Curiosity.

Pari'essi sat back on her haunches watching her brother investigate the holes. She couldn't help but to smile, a happy smile but yet a curious one. She wanted to know what was going on in his mind. Did he like the spot that she was showing him? Or was he really just not into what he was seeing. She held her breath for a moment before taking a few steps forward toward him. "Yeah holes!" she giggled before moving toward a different one and peaking into it before smirking. "You like them?" She asked curiously before dipping her head into it and sniffing the air, seeing if she could pick up his scent. She knew if she could pick up his scent then the tunnels were connected.
She giggled as she looked up at him going from tunnel to tunnel checking for his scent as he investigated the other holes. She wasn't that sure why but she was really enjoying the small amount of time that they had spent together so far. She'd be a really happy cub if she couldn't see him that often after this then she wouldn't mind because then in that case she would have got to know him a little bit and she would be a happy camper. But then again at the same time she hoped that her brother wasn't competely scared away by her and he wanted to spend a day or two with her. that would really make her day.
She giggled as she pushed her way through a hole she had to wiggle around a bit and make part of it just a little bit bigger but once she got past that part it was a easy travel as she wandered toward her half brother with a smirk on her face. She started to notice some light before she paused wiggling her toes in the ground before taking off and popping her head out of the hole. "Gotcha!" She giggled before batting at his nose and pulling her way out of the hole and dashing toward another one where she sat in it peaking her eyes out of it. Giggling as she 'hid.'

"Yes, they're...interesting..." Anwar replied as his sister asked if he liked them. He liked finding out new things. And he'd never found these before. Therefore, he obviously liked them, if only for the knowledge-value they enabled him to collect. He glanced over his shoulder in time to see her sticking her head into one, but didn't bother to ask what she was doing.
Avid collector of knowledge that he was, it seemed sometimes it was just better not to ask. He was sure she wouldn't give him any sort of useful answer anyway. Instead, he turned his attention back to the hole, trying to see how far through it he could see. They were very interesting, these holes. Maybe he'd bring Zarha, and they could come up with some kind of game to play in them.
His ears flicked around at Pari's giggle, but he didn't think much of it. That is, until she just appeared right in front of him! With a startled squeak, Anwar wound up sitting down too fast, nose scrunched up where she'd batted at it. Blinking, still a bit lost as to what had happened exactly, he watched as she ran off...and sat in another hole.
Ohhhhh. Now there was an idea.
With a mock-growl, Anwar bounded to his paws and raced after her. He was a cub after all, a new sort of game was quite capable of perking his interest!

Pari'essi was glad to see that her brother was enjoying the holes just as much as she was. But from what she could tell she was liking them in a different way. She was curious into the best ways to use them to play, she was sure that she found her new favorite spot in the pride. Well of course other than the den, she loved being at the den with all of her siblings. She was also very glad that her brother was amused by the holes, she felt like she did her job.
She glanced toward her brother from her new hole, she had a large grin on her face, she watched his face she wasn't that sure what he was going to do was he going to be mad? She knew that her dad would be mad if she did that. She scared him and a lot of the time when some one was scared they would get mad. She blinked a bit before grinning as she heard a mock growl from her brother she growled back as she pawed at him and then ducked into the hole twisting herself around to be able to run. "You can't get me!"
She was getting really excited to her brother want to play with her. She grinned before popping out of the hole as she squealed and started to run back toward another hole and popping into it just running as fas as she could to get away from her brother.

Anwar watched her as he approached, wary for any signs of distress. His goal was not not upset her. He didn’t need to make her happy or make this the best day ever. All he wanted was to not make her sad. He’d almost botched that earlier, but right now he seemed to have fixed his mistake. Good. Now he knew not to make one like that again. Even though he hadn’t yelled and screamed and gotten mad at her for scaring off the bug he’d been following. He’d just been a little unhappy. And then that had made her unhappy.
He batted lightly at his sister when she growled back, peeking briefly into the hole as she squirmed away into it before spinning and listening hard, prowling around all the holes trying to figure out where she would pop up next.
Hearing her excited squeal from behind him, Anwar spun and raced after her, trying to pounce on her before she ducked into the next hole. He missed, barely, but managed to land on his paws on the other side of the hole she’d just popped into.
“Come out come out wherever you are,” he called softly down one of the holes, before leaping away to a different one and tensing up by the edge of the hole he thought he could smell her strongest from. It was hard to tell really. But if this was the right hole, he was definitely in position to pounce this time!

Pari found all of this very exciting, she felt like she didn't get that many times to play like this so when she could she vowed to enjoy it to the last second.
She found it difficult hiding in the hold having no clue where he was. She giggled a little bit in between panting from running so quickly from one hole to the other. She started to relax some as she hid in the hole, sure of the fact that he wasn't coming, or she was also pretty sure that he was at the other end of the tunnel. She smirked and started to trot happily to the other end of the hole, she wasn't really paying much attention to scents, no she was too proud of herself to be keeping an eye out for anything like that.
However she was competently caught off guard as she popped her head and then her body out of the hole and she was pounced on. She squeaked before looking at Anwar and giggling. She turned around and nipped at him gently before looking at the sun. "Oh no!" She said before nudging him trying to get him off. "Mamas wanted us home around now." She glanced at him wiggling around a bit as she did.

It would seem his patience was to be rewarded. It took a while for her little black and stripy head to pop out of the hole, and he felt himself itching to turn around and check if she were watching him waiting to pounce from one of the other holes all along. But he talked himself out of it. What he knew of his little sister Pari promised that if she were watching him right now, he'd have been hearing her giggling. And so he waited, and he watched, and when the moment finally arrived...
He pounced!
With another playful little growl he pinned his sister for a moment getting nipped at with some degree of neutrality. Playing was fun after all. And he'd gotten to find some new things to explore and examine. The holes seemed to be more than worth losing track of that bug. And his sister was happy. That was also a good thing, he'd learned how to make her giggle and smile.
Anwar sat back on his haunches as she looked at the sun with her dismay, letting her go so she could get up again.
"I guess we better go back then," he decided, shaking himself off slightly and glancing back at the hole he'd just pounced her out of. That had been... fun? Huh. Maybe, just maybe, he could play with her like this again. Maybe. If he wasn't too busy finding out new knowledges...

Pari looked up at the sun once more, making sure that it was really about the time they had to go, she didn't want to leave early when she could still be having this fun time playing. But alas she was right it was time to head home. She let out a sigh before nudging her brother. "Alright, lets go." She sighed then nipped at her brother gently once more. She looked toward where the den area before looking back at her brother . "come on I'll race you!" She laughed as she started to trot back quickly toward the house. "Come on Anwar come on!" She giggled as she looked back before she started to go faster once more.

She was right, of course. They had better get going before they wound up in trouble. He could always come back and explore the holes again sometime, it wasn't like they were going to go anywhere. They were stuck in the ground where they'd been dug.
How had they got there anyway? That was certainly a good question...
Anwar blinked as she nudged him again, watching as she giggled and told him to race her as she hurried off. Why bother with a race? It wasn't like their den was going to go anywhere... well, he supposed a run wouldn't hurt. Besides, they were probably going to be late. And if Pari wanted to race, and if racing would make her happy, and if he were going to hurry home anyway...well... why not.
Bounding to his feet, Anwar bolted off after her, surprising himself with the soft laugh that spilled from his throat as he chased his sister home.
