Parisa lifted her rump and growled softly in aggitation, a small rabbit had escaped her for what felt like the hundredth time! She was quietly sneaking up on it now again and trying to steady her breathing as she kneaded her paws into the ground. Her ears folded back and she pressed her body down lower trying to hide her glowing cheeks. The sun made her fur shine and while she would normally be proud of her clean appearance, today she was just flustered. How was she ever going to be a perfect banu if she couldn't even catch a silly rabbit.
Her body stilled and her eyes narrowed on the rabbit ahead, she knew someone was in the distance watching her humiliate herself over and over, hopefully it was uncle Aali. She hated when her parents saw her faults, or worse when some Pad caught her less then perfect. She forced her attention back to the rabbit ahead nibbling on some grass and twitching it's pink tiny nose.
Your dead... she thought grimly.

The young lion cub found himself bemused by the girls plight. She wasn't a very good huntress, that much was certain, and he himself couldn't help but believe he'd have no problem catching the thing. Of course, he wasn't actually going to be bothered to try - it wasn't that he was lazy, but he preferred not to get his paws dirty. It was hot enough outside as it was, chasing silly rabbits around and getting himself sweaty and disheveled was not his cup of tea.
It wasn't as if he'd really have to do much hunting anyway. Outside of finding pretties to collect, he'd leave the hunting up to them. Despite his red gaze lingering over Parisa's form and technique, despite his hypercritical thoughts, he could condone the fact that she was trying. She wasn't quitting, and he wondered if such stubborn behavior ran from pride or if she truly was that determined!
He'd have to actually talk to her to find out.
Rising from where he'd been resting when banu and rabbit had appeared, Rahim took a few moments to compose himself. A few licks of his forearms and some grooming behind his ears never hurt; just because he was a boy didn't mean he had to look or smell like his rowdy brothers. Besides, it looked as if the young and inept huntress was going to try again. . . .
And though she was just a female, Rahim wasn't so rude as to interrupt. Not yet, at any rate.
