It really depends if you like to play with the simmies, having legacies or if you're just a pure builder.

Honestly I think The Sims 3 is worth to buy..
The open world, no more loading screens (except if you have WA, and you're going on vacation..)

You have more options for your furniture, in the way.. of.. selecting your own colors, patterns and so on.. So no more ridiculous many recolors in your downloads folder of one specific item, what so ever.

You always can check reviews on several Sims 3 fansites , or youtube stuff about the Sims 3. surprised

Last summer, I bought the sims 3 with money I won at a church festival. I loaded it and I sat in the computer chair for a half hour practically bouncing in my seat. It finally loaded and said my video card wasn't good enough. -.-"

I want to play it sooooooo bad though. It's killing me. lol.
