The Ryujin Estate is built in a rather traditional Japanese mansion style and thus is a collection of wood buildings connected by covered paths between large gardens. The whole compound is surrounded by a high wall with a sturdy gate. The estate has since been inherited by Keade and her sister Hitomi. Since Linea (the Teishu) was close friends with Keade when they were children (at 5 years of age Kaede liked to poke Linea with sticks), she has vowed to watch over them and help them train. She is in essence returning the favor the last Teishu did for her.
