Hey, so im not a pro pro at jap
im asian and i love watching anime razz lol
i'll be showing you some verbs you guys would use
Eat- Ta-be-ma-su
Drink- No-mi-ma-su
Look-Mi-ma-su
come- Sa-ka-ma-su
read-Yo-mi-ma-su
Write- Ka-ki-ma-su
play/to do- Shi-ma-su

(Mi) is pronounced in japanese is (me) 3nodding

heres an example how you would use a verb in a sentence

> watashi wa telebi o mimasu
( I am watching tv )

if your asking a question, heres another example how to use a verb in a sentence

> anata wa hon o yomimaska?
( are you reading a book? )
to be honest i actually dont know what anata means D: sorry. when you ask a question you should put (suka) at the end of a question sentence but you pronounce (suka) to (ska).

I hope your not using acutal terms FROM the animes because i took a course in asian culture and he also taught us a bit of japanese as well, and he told us one day that the japanese animes(even the ones that ARE from japan) use more of a slag style of japanese...so if you wanna speak japanese to someone above...if i was u...i wouldn't speak japanese that u learned from some anime :3 or you culd lose ur job or no one will wanna talk to you, unless ur talking to slag talking ppl....then i quess

You think anime is for learning japanese? Not a good idea because...sometimes in animes they sound like their speaking japanese. Even though their saying random stuff. That's only certain animes. >:l

its true she does like anime but we did learn these verbs for sure in japanese class.. razz
loll im just supporting her but dont needa be idkk.. what words to use but.. if someone sed that kinda harsh man.. advices r suppose to be supportive

Anat a means you, and can mean girlfriend I believe

Anata is a way of saying you. It's the normal form, like when you're talking to your buddies. However, I don't know how to say it formal, and I would like to!

it should be terebi, not telebi

Anata means you, but from what I have learned, you should not use it when you're talking formally because the person you are talking to will think you forgot his/her name.

So if you're going to ask Mr. Tanimura if he's reading a book, you should say,
Mr. Tanimura wa hon o yomimasu ka?

Also, if you're going to ask a question, you should add ka, not suka.
Su comes from the polite form of the verb.
