	I have no clue were to start as far as long goes so is there some king of list of the abc in Japanese

	I suggest you start practicing the Hiragana and Katakana listed in the Lesson's forums. Then start practicing basic Japanese Sentence structures.

	Or,, if you like, watch anime with subtitles and so on.. soon you'll b able to learn the basics such as greetings and some few basics words as well. ganbatte~!
