I am a 14-year-old middleschooler (I'm homeschooled). I have been trying to learn Japanese for quite some time. I started using various websites to learn, then decided that they probably weren't very reliable, so I started using iKnow. I was never terribly attatched to that website, and a few days ago, I discovered Japanesepod101.com, which is what I am currently using. I look forward seeing you all around the guild forums and improving my japanese alongside others.

It's already quite late into the night over here in my timezone.
Try Microsoft's Input Method Editor, or IME for short. This shouldn't be too hard to find on google, and works for most windows users. But you also need to have the japanese font installed on your computer.

Hope this helped anyone who is in doubt.

I know a good bit of Japanese, but not enough to even hold a conversation, mostly just random words. I do know what each of the characters mean though. I am going to take a extensive Japanese class for three weeks over the summer and expect to learn a lot more during that time, so I would gladly help anyone with learning some Japanese now and a lot more after I come back from the classes in the summer.
