ok let start by saying the quran was brought on the earth in 2 parts
and in both the angel "Jebreel" was the one who brought it

*the quran was in the seventh sky with god on something called "al lawh al mahfooz"
then on "laylat al kadr" or " the night of decree" in ramadan god made "jebreel" bring the the quran down to our sky all in one night as one continuos phrase, but it was not given to the prophet(peace be upon him) in than manner as one phrase.

there is a phrase in the quran that proves this:
(im sorry my computer cant type in arabic)

"ennaa anzalnaho fee laylate al kadr"
witch means
"we have brought it down in the night of decree"
soorat al kadr, verse 1

**second part was the one most ppl know after the quran was on our sky witch is the first and lowest sky(god lives in the highest witch is the seventh)
the jebreel started bringing on to the the prothet *pbuh* verse by verse for 23 years until the entire quran was sent to the the ppl.

and the phrase that proves this in the quran is:

"wa quraanan faraknaho letakraaho ala al naase ala mokthin wa nazalnaho tanzelaa"
witch means:
"a quran we have seperated so u will read it to the people , and we have sent it down upon u"
soorat al esraa, verse 106

so u see dear pathan both are correct technically, i hope this was of use to u sweety if u didnt understand something feel free to ask me again biggrin

*sourse: "oloom al quran al kareem" by "fahd al roome"

Ok shukran / tashukur / shukria!!! =)

In many countries, like Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India. You say "Khuda Hafith" instead of "Allah Hafith" Khuda = God.

Is that fine to say?

ur only saying a normal everyday word"sort of"
what i mean is that its not religious
so there is no problem
its not like quran for example
u can read translated quran
and its fine
but during prayer u have to read arabic quran right

so dont worry ur not saying anything wrong 3nodding

Something i've always been confused on....

God knows what we're going to do before we do it, But we have free will, we can make choices. Before we're born god knowes where we're going to end up. So whats the point in going through life, cant we just zoom through and go to where we're headed.

And is it true that when were born we're all supposedly going to heaven, but our choices later on change that?

Yes, god knows what were going to do (means he knows what will happen in the future) but only things like when were born, our marriage, and of course, our death, but were still able to change our fate. For example, our success in any job. It depends to us whether to work hard or otherwise. So many2 things that we can change. It depends on us.
