Also, .22LR subsonic ammo will be illegal for sale in CA on the 15th
.22 Short, dipshits.

Also, I hear Ahnold's last hurrah was passing ammo registration after vetoing it three or four times. If you REALLY ******** WANT IT, deal with it. Not my problem any more.
You don't even really need any kind of suppressor for shorts. They're quieter than some AIRGUNS. I can shoot them without hearing protection comfortably. I don't usually risk it, but I tried once.

Funny. I've never used hearing protection, but only because I didn't HAVE hearing protection. Really regretted it after firing that Mauser rifle, my ears were ringing for hours afterwards. But I've never had that issue with the .22LR.

Dude, earplugs are as cheap as 10 cents a pair, there isn't any good excuse not to at least use those.
NOT using them is probably the reason you don't have problems. Hint, if your ears are ringing afterwards, permanent damage has been done.

Yeah, ear protection is a must. You can not avoid using it. Glasses I can take or leave, but you have to have earplugs. You might not be able to tell any difference now, but ten or twenty years from now, ever shot you fire unprotected will take its toll at once. The only thing you can get away with shooting unprotected is maybe .22LR in a rifle. That's really not very loud.

You can't fix hearing. It doesn't heal. So don't ******** with it. 3nodding

Even .22. Smallbore shooters don't yell because they're angry, they yell because they're deaf.

I've only had ringing ears once, and that was when my dad told me a grinding job would take "thirty seconds", and it really took five minutes. I was half-deaf for the rest of the day.
