The Sims 3: Simpoints?

I have been seeing Simpoints going around a lot and I understand that I can buy new items on The Sims 3 game to add to it, but I have some questions.

Feel free to answer all of them if you want! ._.

-What really ARE Simpoints? (In case I don't know something.)
-How do I earn or receive more?
-Do I have to pay using a credit card to use or get more?
-When I redeem my free $10 Simpoints, do I need to use a credit card?
-The definition of "Billing" in the case of Simpoints.
-Does Billing come in as a REAL order, as in it actually COMES to your house as a bill and you HAVE to pay for it, or is it just like Gaia with it's gold?

I think whenever you buy a new Sims 3 game, you recieve $10 worth of simcash. You have to purchase more with real money

-Do I have to pay using a credit card to use or get more?

Yes

-When I redeem my free $10 Simpoints, do I need to use a credit card?
Nope! It's free

-The definition of "Billing" in the case of Simpoints.

I'm guessing it comes out of your bank account, I'm not too sure, not ever having any except for the free simcash

SimPoints are virtual credits like Gaia Cash. You get $10 (£6) worth credited to your account when you register the base game and another $10 worth when you register World Adventures. If you want any more after that then you have to buy them with real cash using a credit card.

MANY people are unhappy about the high prices of the objects and that so few were included in the base game. There is also an issue with the latest patch which stops Store content showing in the game for some players.

They are right.

I really have never used it, except for the free cash, and then I didn't get that much, because the prices are too high.

I would never buy it for myself, but it would be nice as a gift perhaps.

Also you can always get free game content (that're sometimes better than EA items) from places like TheSimsResource and ModtheSims smile
