I was gifted a copy of 'Red Orchestra', it was opened but oh well, I went to install it, it failed, then I went to add the product on steam by the CD-Key and got the message, "This product has been activated on another steam account..."

Apparently you can buy games for your friends on steam but you cannot gift games that you purchased and installed.

I was thinking, "Oh hey, since this person isn't using it anymore I bet there's a way he could pass ownership off to me." Because that makes sense.

But no, it says that it's against their rules, only thing I can hope for is that the person that gave me the game only had steam for that one game and would let me use that account, that is if they didn't forget their login information.

stare <******** steam, I still hate you.

But I can't pursue any of that because SRF is offline for some reason.
Every time I try to go there it hangs then my browser locks up for a bit, then I get 404'd.
