Tsubame now understood what was going on in her own body and while she was not afraid that something was seriously wrong there was a whole new fear that griped her heart, being a mother. Tsu was technically already a mother to Achal's five cubs but for this lioness bringing cubs into this world that carried her own blood would be the biggest test for her.
All her life Tsu believed that she wasn't wanted by others, that even when she made friends that they would leave her, that she was meant to be alone for all her days and it all stemmed from a time when Tsubame's own mother abandoned her to the harsh embrace of the savanna when she was just a juvenile. Unknown to the young lion, she was not abandoned but orphaned and to this day Tsubame did not know this but by a stroke of luck or perhaps by a touch of the gods she met Achal. Achal accepted her into his life and promised that he would be her family and he kept that promise when he brought her to her new home, provided her with cubs to look after, and brought her sisters to grow their small family. So for the first time in a very long time she was happy but now that she knew that her growing belly was not because she was gaining weight from over eating but from cubs her worries returned.
She was worried that she wouldn't be able to raise the cubs to be respectable adults in the pride, or that she wouldn't be able to love them like it seemed her own mother wasn't. Tsubame didn't take into account that she already loved the five cubs that played in the clear waters of the lake. She didn't think about how they were all growing well, learning new things all the time, and were generally happy.
The petite lioness lounged in the shade of a tree, gazing out across the waters of the lake, watching as the sun sparkled and flashed on the surface as her mind wandered from the past to the future. The cubs were out playing with their friends, or their father, or even their other 'mothers'. Tsu felt a slight pang when she thought of the time the cubs spent in the company of the others and wished she could play with them as she once was, now her ever expanding girth made rough-housing dangerous, chasing impossible, and brought general merry-making to a screeching halt.

The little blue cub watched the lounging female, and cocked her head. She liked watching others, and she had been watching her for quite a few minutes now. She had a few curiosities about the female that were really none of her buisness, but she couldnt help but long to know.
The lioness was large.. Round in the belly, and she seemed to be rather fatty. But Zoey couldnt figure out why a Pad would want a fat Banu. She had never seen anyone fat [or pregnant for that matter], and she truly didn't know what to make of it.
She would need to talk to her fathers Banu soon to figure this out.
She still gave a smile, and her little leopard spotted tail flicked around her back legs as she giggled.
She couldnt imagine being fat! Though.. even if she knew it had involved cubs, she would be cautious still.
She was a cub, and though that was her future, it was something she'd never ever want for a looong time.
She watched, without a word, and just waited for something interesting to happen.

Even though Tsubame was spacing out she still felt eyes on her but since no one called out to her or approached her she just ignored it until she couldn't help but wonder who was watching her so steadily. Looking around Tsu quickly caught sight of a little blue cub. The cub was watching her steadily and silently. "Um... hello." Tsu said uncertainly. Interacting with a cub other then her own was not something Tsubame did on a regular basis so she didn't quite know what to say to the young lioness.
She knew what the protocol is for adults when they first meet but she wasn't sure if the same protocol was for cub-adult meetings or if it was different or even if there was one. Not sure what to do or say Tsu just mentally crossed her fingers and spoke out. "Can I help you young one?"

Zoey had no intention of actually bothering the female, least not until the blue lioness spoke to her. Her curiousity pushing her on, she wandered closer, looking to the female's belly. It seemed she was quite large, and what had momma said.. Oh! Maybe this female was expecting cubs! But then she paused before saying anything..Or maybe she just had really bad gas.
"Hi." She replied, voice light like a childs. She was a smart little cub, and she cocked her head as she assessed her situation. The lioness was pretty, though she was not sure at all who the Pad to this Banu was.. But she still couldn't afford to be rude. She knew father would find out about it, and that was something she would never do.
"Im Arezoo.. Er, Zoey. Im not bothering you...Am I?" She asked hesitantly.

"Hello Zoey" Tsubame hesitated just a second before using Zoey's nickname. Her full name just seemed overly formal to use and after all she tossed formality out the proverbial window when she spoke up the first time. "No you aren't bothering. In fact I would say that you are keeping me company, if you want to that is." Tsu was trying her best to meet more members of the pride because she knew that after the cubs were born she would have to stay at the den for awhile. The petite lioness had already wasted enough time being shy and was doing her best to overcome that major flaw of hers. What Tsu didn't know was that ever since she had came to this pride she had interacted with others more than she had in most of her life.

She smiled, and nodded. Of course she'd be happy keeping her company! After all, her mission was to know everyone in the pride, and she..had a long way to go. She sat, and flicked her tail side to side.
"I think I shall like keeping you company." She mused, and looked at the females belly. She knew that was how most looked when they were expecting cubs, and she felt happy for the female. She was obviously going to be a mother, and she wondered how she felt about that.
"Congratulations on the cubs." She said with a smile, and motioned to the others belly, hoping that she wasnt offending.

The little cub was not like any of the others that she had met recently, including the cubs that Achal and her brought back from the rouge lands. Thinking of Achal and the cubs and all those that she had met so far she realized that Zoey had introduced herself but Tsu forgot to return the favor. "Oh I am terribly sorry. I am Tsubame, Beybanu to Achal. Sometimes it seems I forget everything from day to day." Apparently being pregnant had some strange affects on Tsu; mood swings, massive appetite, forgetfulness, and a odd desire to make her den the best it could be.
"Thank you Zoey." She smiled shyly and asked, "So what brings you out here?"
