xxxxxHide and Seek The original! The catalyst for most fun games!
xxxxxxxxxx#Rules# 1. The seeker leader (Or Counter) starts counting by separately posting each number (Normally 40) Please end with "READY OR NOT HERE WE COME!!!!" xxxxx-Please note that people can get annoyed by your Mass/Spam Messaging. A simpler method is to post every increments of 5 or 10 in SHOUT while posting the others in TALK. That way the other seekers can verify that you're counting fully. 2. No using buffs ANYWHERE except for in the counting space! Since newer updates, almost all of them target everyone. So if a Seeker finds somebody by buffing, they'll be disqualified. This doesn't apply if somebody else, not a part of the game, randomly comes by and buffs. 3. Depending on the amount of players, Crews may be made. This is usually with a Guild VC or Crew member in each to verify that rules are followed. 4. Bases are chosen prior to start. Often they'll be the meet-up point, easily noticed areas, or near certain NPCs. Such as the Shrine Gate in Zen Gardens or Blaze in Otami Ruins. 5. Main maps only. Everyone, especially if they aren't on your team, should be able to find you, somehow. If you're found within a Crew Only area in a multi-Crew game, you'll be disqualified. Also, unless verified as allowed, stay out of the Null Chamber. 6. All Seekers must use a single-target Ally Ring, preferably Wish, to target a Hider and verify that they've been found BEFORE announcing who they've found. 7. Seekers may NOT use a map. Use your brain to figure out where you are, or just ask somebody. Even if none of the Hiders are friends with you. 8. For the sake of fairness, please do not target a Hider before they hide. This means if you're on the same screen as them, you'll be able to see them right away. Just target yourself or a random Animated please. 9. Don't use NPCs, such as Logan, to Hide behind. D= We can't click you there! T^T
Now there's some additional rules for the two variations of Hide and Seek.
xxxxxxxxxx#Statue Hide and Seek# + All Hiders must be hidden in their final position by the time "READY OR NOT" is Shout'ed. + Once you've hidden STAY PUT! If you're seen moving about on a crew member's map, you'll be asked to return to base. + Return to base only when found or the game is over! Or else you ruin the fun and screw up the chances for somebody to find you! + Once you are found, or are told to return, return to the base and wait. Enjoy chatting with anyone that'll listen ^_~ + These games are Timed unless stated otherwise. Normally for 15 minutes.
xxxxxxxxxx#School Yard Hide and Seek# + Be out of sight of Seekers when "READY OR NOT" is Shout'ed. + Get back to base as quickly as you can, but don't get caught! + Hiders are allowed to move as much as they want, but at their own risk. + There may be multiple Bases set up, in which case you have temporary immunity, but only one Home. You'll go here to be safe or once you've been caught.
xxxxxxxxxx~Tips~ Here's some things to help you play~ Enjoy and use at your own risk! >![User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.](https://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/s.gif) = Use as small of an avatar as you can! Unless there's a rule against I AM items, this is your best bet to blend in. = Speed yourself up! Coyote Spirit and Fleet Feet are safe bets, but be careful when using, since it's easily seen/heard and affects everyone you see! = If you've found a good spot that nobody finds, keep quiet about it! =D Save it for later ^=~ = If you are playing this in Barton Town, please do not hide behind the Daily Chance. You aren't allowed to hide there. Anything with a wheel is not allowed for you to hide behind.
xxxxxxxxxx~Variations~ Just some unique ways to play. =3 Enjoy! - Animal Catcher: All Hiders are dressed in their favorite animal I AM items, and the Seekers.

Word Search This activity is a branch off of Hide and Seek, with some mind games included!
#Rules# 1. All Hide and Seek Rules Apply unless otherwise stated. 2. Hiding team comes up with a word or phrase with the number of letters (Or words, if you choose phrase) equal to the number of hiders, or a multiple of that. -For Example: Five Players = Five Letters or Words. 3. Hiding goes about as normal. This game may be played as a Statue or SchoolYard game. 4. Once a Hider has been found, they must reveal their letter or word! 5. Seekers must try to figure out the word before time is up! 6. On most occasions, Seekers will be allowed multiple guesses. This is subject to limitation to make the game a little harder. 7. Game may be won before all Hiders are found. 8. If Playing SchoolYard H&S, there is no "I'm Safe" Home Base, but there may be Temporary Safe Bases. 9. In some cases, Freebie letters are given, to add even more difficulty (Or lack there-of) to the word. These must be given out before hiding takes place.
For Example: John, Bob, Mary Jane, and Cleatus are all on a team together. They're word is Mage. Bob is found, and gives his letter- M. Then Mary Jane is found, giving out G. The Seekers can try to guess Mugs, Grim, Smug- but then Cleatus is found, revealing the letter E. Seekers try Gems, but it doesn't work, not figuring out the word at all.
~Tips~ = Try out words that people don't normally know. = Think of words that have common letters, and that'll keep people wondering about how to order things around. = Go for a Scrabble approach- Heck, if you have the game pieces, use them. They'll help you move things about or think of words to hide with! ;D = If you are playing this in Barton Town, please do not hide behind the Daily Chance. You aren't allowed to hide there. Anything with a wheel is not allowed for you to hide behind.
