i take japanese 2 class and currently on top of my lessons. i dont have japanese system on my pc so imma teach with romaji pls stick with me

first step to learning japanese!!! learn the charts of katakana and hiragana smile if you've got it all memorized u shud be good~!

Hajimemashite = how do you do?
watashi wa zero desu = i am zero
doozo yorushiku = nice to meet you
watashi = used informally by anyone
watakushi = used formally by anyone
atashi = used by female only
boku = use by males only (unless your a girl trying to be tough or rebellious, and if used by a girl she is considered tomboyish)

konnichiwa - hello / good afternoon
konbanwa - good evening
yorushiku - nice to meet you
hajimemashite - formality when first introducing yourself.

COUNTERS


people--- only use this for counting people
the counter for people is "nin" (1 person and 2 people are exception for the counter nin)

1 person = hitori
2 people = futari
3 people = san nin
4 people = yo-nin
5 = go-nin
6 = roku-nin
7 = nana-nin (or u could use shichi-nin)
8 = hachi-nin
9 = kyuu-nin
10= jyuu-nin
? = nan-nin (how many people?)

Tsu --- the master tsu!!! hehe this counter can be used for any kind of counting except people ( i think, if not pls correct me ^^)
hitotsu - 1 unclassified object
futatsu - 2 unclassifieds object
mitsu - 3 unclassifieds object
yottsu - 4 unclassifieds object
itsutsu - 5 unclassifieds object
muttsu - 6 unclassifieds object
nanatsu - 7 unclassifieds object
yattsu - 8 unclassifieds object
kokonotsu - 9 unclassifieds object
too - 10 unclassifieds object (this doesnt have a tsu, its exceptional)
ikutsu - how many unclassifieds object

Mai --- counter for any flat objects

ichimai - 1 flat object
nimai - 2 flat objects
sanmai - 3 flat objects
