One year after the disc drive closed and never reopened, I have finally repaired my Failbox Xbox 360! Turns out, one of the belts that serves to open and close the drive came off. A friend of mine tinkered around inside it, put the belt back on, and it's been working fine ever since.

Now I just need to buy all the s**t I need for it. Namely, a friggin controller. I can borrow my brother's controller for now, but I need one of my own. I also need games. Demos and Assassin's Creed II will only hold me over for so long.

I did that in school once. Well rather the opposite. I was bored and messing with the CD drive and I slipped the belt off with a pen.

Then you watch the kids of the next period freak out.

... In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years
of democracy and peace, what did they produce? The cuckoo clock.

Actually I don't think anyone even noticed. Nobody actually used the CD drives since everything was done online.
