To Cut or Not To Cut...

(We're reading Hamlet in my Lit class, Shakespeare has been stuck in my head all week)

I've been debating whether or not to cut it all off.
Because I've always had short hair and I decided to grow it out this school year.
It looks nice but I'm really missing my short hair.
But if I cut it I want to cut it shorter than I've had it before, so I'm debating how short I want to go and trying to decide if short hair suits me.

and I need some help.


This is my hair now.

Just for a visual, me without so much of a mess of hair
(If/when I cut it it would be longer than that. I just didn't want to spend a ton of time messing with my hair to make it appear to be the length I'm thinking.)


Yay or nay?
Style suggestions?
(My friends are utterly unhelpful and not giving me any ideas except for the one that said I should do my hair as short as hers so we can be dyke buddies.)

Hmmm...I like the current length of your hair.

Although the frontal image of the possible shorter style looks good...even if you are staring at us blankly. xp

But my vote is still for the longer length.

And the idea popped into my head.

I'm really not sure because longer hair is fun
But shorter hair is much easier to manage.
(And my hair is starting to get really dry on the long highlighted parts. I never had that problem when my hair was short)

My vote goes for longer. Short hair on a rounder face has never really looked quite right to me.

So honestly you should do what you like better.

I get your stand on shorter hair being easier though,
I had massive thick freaking waterfall of hair until I cut it just above my ears.
And holy freaking bananas batman how much easier it is now.

Most people prefer one of the other.
If I don't get it cut as short as I want, which would be about chin length, then I'll probably get some length cut off at least.

I think I may wait until the end of the school year to cut it though, after some thought.
There be dances coming up.
I may not be a girly girl but last year I had my hair pretty short around prom-season, chin length in the back but about shoulder length in the front, and it was kind of difficult to style.
