I'm charging about 200k for a fullbody colored.
I could get away with charging more from what I've seen
but...idk. I just don't want too.

Man, I was really selling myself low when I was still doing avi art.
I should really get back into that if you can make that kind of gold just for a full body colored picture.
I was making those for 5k when I was drawing. >>
(Though that was before the Gaia economy started screwing itself)

Me too!! Most was 10K (colored) but typically lower like 5 or 2K only. >_

lol I stopped with real money on gaia for a long time but then on Christmas I donated for fast items (*cough* I really wanted Noel) but that's it. No more for gaia!! sweatdrop

I stopped donating to Gaia like...3 years ago or something.
That's when I pretty muched stopped logging on,
and when I returned I was sort of in my I-have-no-money funk.
So no money for you gaia!
Also I've just reached a point in mentality where nothing will get me too pay real life money for pixels

I lost 100k when I bought a Red Rose Wristlet Corsage from some scammer instead of the Scarlet Rose. They look like the same damn thing!
I was so mad. Currently have 8k out of it back. Oh yeah.

I gotta be more careful when trading...

I like the Scarlet Rose, I always wanted a red version of the Winter Rose anyway. The Grim Reaper item, I didn't much like though. Kinda liked the black skeleton pose, but out of the whole thing, the wings were by far my favorite. These month's items are 100k each, it's crazy.

I used to do that as well till I checked other peoples prices compared to quility of work and was all "Waaaaait a minute"
So yah.

I propobly won't keep the store open long.

I'll have too try that someday.

I was thinking of starting to do Gaia art again once I looked at the prices people are charging now.
I stopped because it wasn't worth it for the 3-7k I was making for a full body colored before.

I got too practise making things shiny as well
I suck at it.
I thing it has something too do with the fact that my ussual way of drawing is much more using black pens too draw creepy creatures
then the dineyish-digitaly coloured style I use for comisions.

And heeeey,
I bet we could totaly make a joint art store.
It could be awesome.

I prefeer traditional as well.
Digital takes me a long time, and it's not quite as much fun
when you know you can fix all mistakes with the click of a button.
I prefeer the knowledge that with on wrong pen stroke I could be completely ruining what I'm working on.

I can barely do digital. xD;
I've never actually done a digital piece that I liked.
Traditional art is INTENSE.
A single pen stroke can ruin the entire thing.

You should PM me or something.
I've been out of avi art for a while so I don't really know the prices or how a bribe shop really goes.

How do auctions work?
If I have time I wonder if I can also start an art shop again on gaia and increase my prices...if that's the case.... *Squeal* ...I might actually have gaia gold again to get gaia items and even hold contests here on the guild for decent prizes!!!

Art auctions work like most auctions work.
People fight over who offers the most cash for the prize

I've never taken part in an art auction so my knowledge is limited...

But bribe shops,
work basicly like normal art shops, except that instead of set prices
people name the price they are willing too pay themselfs.
And if the artist likes the offer it's like "That's good baby, now let me art you up."
but if it's not up too their liking it all "Bitchplz, I ain't some cheap little piece like your mother. You best be offering more before I get insulted"
aaaaand then either the offer gets higher
or bye-bye goes the buyer.

At least that's how I set it up.

Except I don't ussualy go and mention peoples mothers anywhere.

I've heard art auction prices can get pretty high.
You've got to be really good to attract those really high prices though.

I'm not allowed to go grocery shopping with my friends anymore because I go all ADD in stores and they never get to what they went there for.
A joint art shop will be totally INTENSE.
