Ukoo spotted the lovely lioness that was her sons mate and smiled deeply to see her pregnant. This was such a happy thing and yet something nagged in the back of her mind... what would Tariq think? Or did she care?
No she didn't.
"Hello Jasiri darling! Look at you! So big now... I am so glad to see you two safe and sound and... happy... and going to start a family... oh Dahabu... " She looked too her son with tears in her eyes. "I thought I'd never see either of you again! I am so-so happy..." She said, dipping her head against the rain.

Dahabu nuzzled Jasiri as she came up to them, a smile on his face. "Luck was with us." And then he looked to his mother, and moved to stand beside her. "We're here, Mother." And truthfully...he'd need to talk with Jasiri. He didn't want to leave his mother again. And he didn't want to leave Jasiri either, with how pregnant she was and how much he loved her. "Why don't you lead us to shelter, and we can catch up on all we've missed together!" He wanted to be his mother's sunshine again.

Jasiri returned Dahabu's affection, something she wouldn't have done in front of another before this journey. The lioness was glad they'd found Dahabu's mother. He just hadn't been himself without her. She took a place on Ukoo's other side, nodding. "Yes. There is much you missed, and it is best discussed where we can all be dry."

Ukoo nodded and without a word turned to lead them back to the pridal dens. She planned on staying the night with them and sleep beside her son, like she used to when he was little. "Yes yes... come come with me and we will find you a lovely spot to stay... and in the morning we will look for the sultan..." She said with a beaming smile, as the rain flattened her ears and her fur.
I am gonna say fin on her part
