This is really cute. What I might suggest is trying to make the clouds 'fuller' looking. normally even fluffy clouds are pretty solid and have bigger poofs so to speak xD hard to explain.
As well, I might suggest you try to make the background more like a unset instead of midday. The red and oranges will contrast beautifully with the green balloon.
All in all this is a good idea, something simple. Maybe try sharpening the edges a little? Having it so "blurry" looking isn't adding much to even the clouds or picture itself.
