Olympics anyone?

Have any of you mortals been watching the Olympics lately?

If you have, enjoy your terrestrial Olympics while you can, for I watch more enlightened, more futuristic, more.... spacey... sports. Something on a higher plane than your earth-bound Olympics.

What Grand Tradition do I talk about. Why, none other than the

Not in Vancouver, but in BC.

I don't know a single person who actually approves of them being here.

My crappy country gets the real olympics in 2012. I would be a lot more interested if they introduced Sumo and Lucha Libre as sports, replacing pointless s**t no one watches like archery and weightlifting.

You know what I want to see in the (summer) Olympics? Speed inline skating. That would be awesome. X3

The two pairs of figure skaters last night who won gold and silver are locals.

The Canadian pair who won gold, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, live across the river in Canada and train at a facility that's maybe 5-10 miles from my house, and is a place that seems to churn out champions, because I think one of the American female skaters last olympics was from there as well.

The US pair that won silver also train at that facility, go to college at a nearby university, and live nearby as well.

I'm surrounded by awesomeness!
