I hate moving my sims from house-to-house, so usually I have as many as the house can handle without being too crowded.

My sims normally have 2-3 kids per family.

But, I have one family that has 5-6 kids. I have inteeniminator, so they started producing at teenagers. It. Is. Amazing. Lucky that the father's parents wanted 8 grandkids. Plus his brother had 3...

two or three at most.
when i was playing the sims 2 i had a lot of sims that had 5 kids because i had previously had adult aging off, but then turned it on again. so i had adults with adult kids/grandkids, and wanted them to age and die already.

I tend to kill sims off pretty quick, so they are always having kids. I used to have one family with something like 15 kids. That was the most for me, but not by much.

I usually have 5-6 kids.

I only played Sims 3 a few times, but I can't see myself having more than 2 or 3 kids in it.

That's how I usually play as well. It's a challenge when someone has twins!

On the Sims 3 I usually only have 1 or 2, I don't really like taking care of kids on that one although I like having them. I hate having triplets, I had them once and wanted to pull my hair out

I usually have two or three.
I found that I tend to make a family with two teenagers, and sometimes a younger sibling. I'm not sure why I make so many families with two teenagers, now that I think about it.
The only two families I can think of that had only one teenager in them both had single parents, who married. So then I had teenage brothers again.
Seriously, I'm thinking about it now, almost every time I make a teenager, they have a sibling the same age as them. Weird.

I try to only have one so I can continue future generations in one straight line. It get's too complicated for me when I am managing the families of two siblings at once.

Since most of us here don't like gigantic families, do you ever go for the "Have 5 Grandchildren" wish or the "Have 5 Children" wish?

I only go for them if I'm playing a family who's linage I don't really care too much about so I can just move them out the second they become Young Adults.

Sims 2 - As many as possible.

I loved on Sims 3 that they would move out and do their own thing and have kids.
