Click for larger imageIt was a truly beautiful day one that just called Kifaranga to explore. She headed off her pride's lands and walked towards to the rouge lands. Kifa breathed deep the warmth and fresh scents of the air. She took time to watch the birds fluttering from tree to tree wishing that her wing marking were real wings instead.
Kifa was a good distance into the rouge lands she felt it odd she had not run into anyone yet, but she kept going. She finally found a good place to take a rest. There was a small water source and some shade from the sun. She found a rock to perch on over looking what could be called a miniature oasis. Kifa cleared her throat and began to sing in a cheerful tune. "Rays of the sun just dancing, dancing, warming my heart and soul. Ever washing over me with joyous jubilation!! So I raise my voice and sing to thank gods! For the many joys they have given to me!"

His mood could certainly be called foul. It was degrading having to hunt for himself but he was hungry and the need to eat out weighed his damaged pride. The lack of females in his harem was a constant stab of embarrassment and it irked him to no end to look around and see only young cubs, too young to join him too small to leave their fathers dens, those fathers who were surrounded by loyal, obedient women. His anger showed in every stride he took.
His dark mane fell over his eyes as he stopped suddenly, his paw steps pulling him up in a quick, skidding stop as he heard the sound of music flowing to his pale ears. Bloody red eyes turned slowly to scan the savannah and he dropped slowly to his belly, his hunger forgotten, a different kind of prey had wandered in to his vision, a prey he wanted more than anything.
She was certainly beautiful, he could admire something so basely wonderful, and her voice, well her voice simply added to the little euphoric moment he felt as he slipped through the long grass, his belly close to the ground, his tail swaying slowly.
He closes his eyes and sighs a happy, pleased little sigh as he slinks quietly towards the watering hole. "That, is a beautiful sound my little song bird." He whispers, his voice rough and low, a quiet growling sound which could almost be soothing if it wasn't tainted with an undertone of lust, of need, of want. "What are you doing out here alone little song bird? Don't you know it is dangerous?" He whispers, taking a step closer to her, his eyes wantonly raking her slender green frame, his gaze only leaving her for the briefest of moments to check that she was in fact alone and ripe for the picking.

Kifaranga gasped when at the sound of the males voice. she jumped to her paws and turned to face him, but then she smiled. Fearing other lions was nothing she had ever considered. She had only ever been with her pride and the rouge lands so she had never met a lion or lioness of ill manner.
Kifa sat down curling her tail around her legs. Something was making her feel uneasy though she just couldn't put her paw on it.
"Thank you." She said with a smile flicking her ears a bit . "I think I can take care of myself. I've never had any thing to fear before. I've taken trips to the rouge lands many times before." Her rainbow eyes took in the male he looked as though he had been hunting. "Did I interrupt your hunt? I hope my singing didn't scare away your prey." Kifaranga looked about wondering if she would see prey running off into the distance. "My name is Kifaranga, what's your's?"

A little quirk of a smile lifted his lips and he took another step closer. "I can scent no pride near by, you must be some way out are you?" He knew the answer, she was at the border of some pride or other, he could smell no othe rlions and the savannah was clear of all but a few random birds and a few less than attentive zebras in the distance.
"My name is Kwea, Lord Kwea." his smile broadens a little, closing the gap between himself and the lioness buy another slow step. "I was hunting, but I seem to have found something much more wonderful to prey on." he chuckles his tail flickering.
"Do you wish to come and sing for me more perminantly song bird hmm?" he clicks his tongue against his teeth, clearly, it wasn't really a question, he was making a formal request but she didn't have a choice, if she would notice the meaning of his question, he was un sure, if she ran, it would mean a chase. He did so enjoy a chase it made the catch that much more valuable.

"No....I'm a bit of a walk away......" Kifa replied feeling her hairs raising, something was just not right here. She lifted her paw, her discomfort showing outwardly now.
"Oh you're a lord...leader of some sort?" It was obvious she was trying to keep calm and stay polite, that was just her nature. "What do you mean?....." Kifa stood and backed off her warm stone perch still keeping Kwea in front of her.
"Um...Its a nice offer and all....very honored , but I think its time for me to go home. I forgot to let everyone know where I was going and they'll be worried and come looking for me." Still looking over her shoulder she turned and started moving in the direction she had come from. "Nice meeting you."

A low chuckle rumbles from his chest and he smiles, it would be a chase then. Picking up his paws he follows her quickly, his pale coat shimmering in the sun, showing those svelte mucles and youth. This, she, this was his. His smile widens as he leaps towards her hooking a paw under her back legs and pulling her towards him bodily.
"Now now song bird, I did not give you permission to leave." He growls, towering over her his blood red mane mingling with her soft green coat.
deep red eyes rake her over and his ears flatten, vanishing in to his mane. "I will give you one more chance song bird, come and sing for me of your own will." he whispers, the threat fully obvious in his voice now, either she came iwllingly, or she was coming by force. Either way she belonged to him now she wouldn't abandon him, he wouldn't be left by any female. He would never be left alone again.

Kifaranga gave out a scream as he grabbed grabbed her back leg. Terrified she stared up at him as he spoke her mind spinning. It was just supposed to be a fun walk why didn't she head home sooner? Why didn't she run from him right away? "Permission?! I..I don't need it!"
Kifa struggled under his grasp bucking and snarling as he spoke again. Who did this guy think he was?! Even if he was some lord or something in his pride he had no say over her! Not able to free herself she twisted and smacked at him with her paws. She was no fighter but she had hunted her whole life and that was no easy feet for soft paws. She managed to push him off and she bolted as fast as her paws could carry her. Maybe just maybe she could make it to her border there her pride mates would defend her from this maniac. "I don't care who you are or where you come from but you have no power over me!!!"

Having been attacked and seeing the little green female flee from him, this time in a much more frenzied manner, he grins and bolts after her, his longer stride bringing him upon her in a mere heart beat.
A single paw flicks out and hooks her back legs again, as he would an antelope or zebra, tripping his prey so that he could attack the throat. It was not the throat he leapt for though, taking a long jump to her side he nudges her shoulder with his own and swings a large paw across her head.
Usually this tactic knocked anyone out, it was the way the pride claimed it's females and this one was most certainly his. Oh yes, she was so beautiful, he would take her home and parade her like the little song bird she was, hewould show them how beautiful her voice was, how melodeous and he would be envied and she would learn to love and obey him as any female should.
He pulls up on a dime to look at her, waiting to see if he would have to cuff her again to send her on her sleepy way.

No she didn't make it far at all before he had her again. "Let go!!" Kifa managed to scream before she felt his massive paw sweep across her head. She felt dizzy as she fell to the ground hard. She worked her paws trying to stand to run again, but it was as if the ground was spinning.
Kifa blinked, but nothing would come into focus. Her head began to throb and that was it, she slumped flat on the ground. Only seeing his red toes before her before she closed her eyes knocked out cold. What would happen to her?

Kwea smirks, grabbing the lioness by the scruff of her neck he tosses her over his back and turns towards the pride. It was time to show off his new lady. He would make everyone jealous, he just knew it.
Smirking in a pleased manner he tosses his bloody red mane out of his eyes and breaks in to a slow trot.
