House of Night is better than some stupid Twilight. Twilight is beginning to become a sad case... stressed People are taking it WAYY too far talk2hand

I vote every other vampire book because Twilight has been drawn out and I am getting sick of it... I have never been a fan of the movie Twilight but I used to like the books...mainly because I read them before they were popular...And plus now everyone who tries to write and publish a vampire novel is going to be compared to Twilight .... it is really getting on my nerves....

Nice! Not many people read the original these days! Props for reading Stoker.
Twilight is fine, its just for a younger audience than say, Anne Rice or Laura K Hamilton. I compare it to these due to the romance element. Twilight is comparatively tame when held next to the works of these two dark and horny ladies.
I personally prefer the action to the romance so Blade-like characters are for me
----ps this is not to be taken as an endorsement of the Blade Trinity movie which sucked leprous scrotum......except for Ryan Renolds who is hilarious

oh god here comes the twilight haters. rolleyes
i like both i like twilight that its different from other vampire things and also everyone has to get over the he sparkles is different not a good different but it is!
also i just enjoy it for the story i won,t let sparkles ruin that.

As far as vampires go, I'll stick to my Salem's Lot, 30 Days of Night, and that one South Park episode.
The entire genre is starting to become pretty stale, though.

XD! lolz, if you think Twilight is one of the best things ever, don't go to my profile, and if you do, don't spam me about me being wrong. Bella is basically a person annoying person who can not be independent, and several other things I do not wish to list. Edward, he is a stalker, he is abusive in a few ways, and the fist movie sickened me, and some of my sisters friends went to go see new moon, and they said it was one of the funniest things they have ever seen. Jacob, he, hes just a sick puppy, who is NOT a werewolf, but a shape shifter. A werewolf is a person who has been bitten by one, or is a child of 2 werewolf and only turn into wolfs during a full moon and can general not control who they kill. Jacob, he can decide when to turn into a wolf and who he kills. Plus Twilight is basically a Mary Sue...*BLECK!* and I agree with Fallen midnight angle, some people have taken it MUCH to far. Some people have tried to kill twilight dislikers JUST because they don't think think Twilight is the best thing EVER. It's really annoying. And some of my friends last year, they tried to get me to read it, and not matter how many times I said no, they would keep trying, VERY annoying.

If you really want to find the best books every then read " The Wars of Light And Shadow" series by Janny Wurts or Raymond E. Fiest's "Riftwar cycle".
