My Sis, who lives in the SHIRE, said that she had
not heard of the sms texts encouragin violence until the
Daily Telegraph did a giant two page spread on them.

Her theory is that noone would have turned up if
not for the papers, so tehre would have been no riot
and the police could have soughted the lifeguard beating instead
of Us looking like thugs world wide.

Then if the media had not shown the riots there would
have been no revenge attacks.

SO what do you think, did the media beat up
make things worse?

Why would you lock it? Its about a specfic incident that was blown way out of scope by the press. There is too much rage in the world. stare And besides, if that happened in my home town I would up and move. No point staying if the area your living in becomes more dangerous as time goes by. stare

News sells a lot better when its bad news apparently. But then again I don't get the papers that come out every day like the sydney morning herald or the daily telegraph. I get The Land. The best thing about it is no war or any other bad stuff that seems to go on in our communities. Just agricultural stuff. 3nodding
