Life as a rogue had been harder than she had imagined. Where she was once surrounded with lions that taunted her color, she was now alone without any company in the world. She didn't like it, and she realized that maybe pridal life was the life for her.. She begun wondering if she had made a mistake leaving the Kunanda lands, but deep in her heart she knew it was meant to be. They had disliked her there, and never once had she fit in amongst her pride.

So she had left for something better, and something better she was not going to stop until she found. Her lime green eyes gleamed as she came closer to the boundary of a new territory. She could smell the markings, and she hesitated actually striking out in the territory.

Something was.. was whispering in her head and she stopped to take a look around her. With nothing there, she sighed, and wondered what was going on. She wasnt going dellusional in her solitary life was she? Oh god, please no.

But she was unaware it could be something else entirely.

The voices seemed to be attracting a lot of new blood to the Kizingo'zaa. While it was not unusual to spot strange faces amongst the familiar ones, the young huntress had noticed a definitive increase in the amount of new faces that wandered in and out of her homelands. Not everyone stayed for good, but it pleased Lamya to see all of them. There was something special about strangers.

It was a beautiful time of day. The sun hung at an ideal spot in the sky, and the shadows cast by its light were long and tall. Lamya watched and listened to her muses as they mimicked and generally did those things that shadows do best. Like the shadows, Lamya liked to copy things, and it had occurred to her sometime ago that attempting to parrot the voices in her own head could be a lot of fun.

She hid in the bushes nearby Juno as the younger lioness approached the pride, and did her best to remain still and unnoticed. She watched, playful, as the other lioness stalled at the edge of the pride lands.

"Hellooooo," she whispered from her hiding place, doing her best to sound ethereal and mysterious, "The sun is hiiiiiigh in the skyyyyy todaaaay."

She was unaware the other was around, and she continued forward as if she were completely alone.
However, she paused dead in her step as she heard the voice.
They talk about the weather?? She thought, thinking maybe ghosts were surrounding her or haunting her.

What was wrong with her? She had never had any experience with voices, and yet here she was hearing them clear as day.
What else was there to do, but talk to them?

"Helloo?" She called back, drawing out the O just as the ghost had. It paid to get in on a ghosts good side, or so she assumed.

"I guess it is." She looked overheard, staring at the sky, but brought her green eyes down upon the lands.

The younger lioness responded accordingly, and Lamya almost bust a rib trying not to giggle. She considered herself to be very funny, and was delighting in this opportunity to play more games. It was wonderful, impersonating the voices. She wondered why she had not done it sooner.

The huntress snickered with her mouth behind her paw, proud of herself, and then cleared her throat. There was a quiet pause as she considered what she should say next, and then continued.

"I'm hungreeeee. Yoooouu should bring me foooood."

What the?! So Ghosts ate too? She squinched her nose as grumbled. Why had everyone lied to her about their ghost stories?

"How do you eat? I mean.. You.. have no mouth." She spoke, her voice unwavering. She did not really fear this voice, as she was more intrigued. It took a great deal more to scare the little lioness, as she was used to being tough by now.

"And if you eat.. What could it possibly be that you eat?"
She asked curiouslty, listening for the source of the voice. Though it came from a central area, she was sure it was all around her.
