AIM Log -- Felyn Eros & Sadachbia Eros wasn’t usually a night owl, but he simply felt.. restless. Sometime during the night he had gotten up and left his family where they all were slumbering under the line of the jungle border. The sand made him feel more at home, walking along it was soothing, and the sound of the ocean waves in the backdrop calmed his nerves. He wasn’t sure why he was suddenly such an insomniac, but something was keeping him from sleeping and he didn’t feel particularly inclined to just lay there.
As he was walking, he began to hear the sound of singing in the distance. Singing in the Kizingo wasn’t so uncommon, really, but he would have thought that the majority of the pride would be sleeping right now. Thus, with his curiosity peeked, he adjusted his course and began to walk towards the sound that was beckoning him. The singing was from none other than Sadachbia – once known as Hadharani. The young, sweet daughter of Hadithi and Misae. Well, perhaps not so young as she once was, but still just as youthful in heart and mind as she ever was. Whimsical and full of mirth and joy as she sang out clearly to the stars. Her voice wasn’t as clear or beautiful as her mother’s, or her brother’s, but singing was in her blood.
Sadly, whatever she was singing didn’t make one lick of sense.
She was simple standing there, ankle deep as the waves washed up around her, staring up at the night sky like she was in a trance. The words tumbled from her lips, spewing beautiful nonsense, with her none the wiser to her sudden visitor. Eros stopped short of the brown lioness, one brow arching in confusion as he watched her in silence. What on earth was she babbling about? He shouldn’t have really been surprised, he supposed, but it was hard not to be even after the time he had spent in the pride. Still, even if her song made no sense to him, he couldn’t find the heart to interrupt her. She just seemed to be enjoying herself so much!
Thus, he simply sat where he was, waiting for her to finish and to perhaps notice him. Someone save him if she was completely nuts, but he was curious! It was a few long moments more before the nonsense song came to a close and Sadachbia stood there in silence. Well, silence to anyone around her. To Sadachbia the night was alight as the stars above her chattered endlessly. Some of them spoke to her, others spoke amongst themselves, and she always thought herself lucky to be able to be a part of their conversation. They had such wonderful things to say!
“Oh, I didn’t see him, nope,” she said aloud, her voice airy and kind of absent sounding, despite the fact that her face almost had a hint of sadness to it. “Uh, excuse me?” Eros questioned suddenly, mistaking it as something directed at him. What kind of lioness spoke without looking at someone. He understood crazy, but did that mean manners got left by the wayside too?
“You didn’t see who?” He glanced around him for good measure, just to make sure that no one was standing there. Or was she talking about him? For a second Eros had to wonder if he was going crazy – was he not seeing someone he was supposed to be?

“Oh!” Sada turned around abruptly, her eyes as bright as the stars above her and widened with surprise. It must have been a particularly good night for her, otherwise she probably would have contributed his random voice to another one of the stars speaking to her.
“Well, you obviously!” She chirped out, a hint of amusement in her voice as she said it. The way she had been speaking earlier seemed to say that if anything, he was the last ‘him’ that she meant, but who could argue with someone that was crazy?
She covered the distance between them and sat down in front of him abruptly, leaning in far too close to him, right into his personal bubble. She peered up into his pale eyes with her bright ones, furrowing her brows as if she were concentrating on something difficult.
“Uhh,” Eros looked confused at the answer he received. How could she be talking about not seeing him before she saw him? For a moment he felt as if his brain might freeze, but he simply put the thought aside – mostly because he had something very different to think about now:
There was a strange lioness in his personal space.
Normally it wouldn’t have been that much of a concern for him, but he had had his fill of new lionesses since he’d met Persephone and he wasn’t sure he really wanted to tango with this one. She seemed like a special brand of nutters. “Is.. something wrong?”
“No, no! Quite the opposite, actually. I think everything is terribly right!” She let out a soft laugh, though it seemed as if she were laughing with someone and that someone certainly wasn’t him. She even paused to tilt her head somewhat to the side, as if she were listening to some secret being whispered. That only made her laugh more, a soft childish peal.
“Oh, I know a secret, dear pinky,” she whispered, leaning in any closer to him. She glanced sideways, to her left and right, and as she spoke she was staring off somewhere in the distance like she expected someone to run up and steal her secret any moment now.
“A.. secret?” Oh, he was trying very hard to be a good boy and not say anything that might upset her. He had always been raised to be nice and sweet, but this was the first time he’d ever encountered someone truly crazy in the lands. Despite that, he was intrigued.
“What is the secret?” he leaned in, whispering back, glancing off in the same direction she was as if that might help him get this secret from her.
“There is going to be.. a lot of little,” she said, then sat back with a pleased smile on her face. Oh, she knew, she knew! She reached out with one paw and patted his shoulder as if what she had said made all the sense in the world.
Then, without another word, she stood up and walked back to where she had been standing before, and her nonsensical song started again. It was hard to tell if it was the same, or if she was making it up as she went along. Whatever the case, she had lost all interest in him and was right back to doing.. whatever it was she was doing.

“What in the world does that mean?” He was dumbfounded! A lot of little? That had to be the most cryptic message he had ever heard. He just stared after her, like he was waiting for something else, but as he watched her fall back into her trance he realized that he simply wasn’t going to get anymore than that.
With a sigh, he pushed himself to his feet and began to walk down the beach, sparing glances back at the brown lioness as if he expected her to come running after him to shed clarity on the words at any moment. She didn’t however, and he was left wandering for most of the night, more restless than he had been when he started.
