I really like this! The only thing I have a problem with is that his nipples are so light color that it immediately draws your eyes to them, at first glance I thought his nipples were his eyes and then his torso was his head. It took me a while to actually look at the image and realize what I was actually seeing. Perhaps just make them a shade darker from the red in his body to stop this from happening.

Overall though, I really like it and if it was a t-shirt I would probably buy it.

although it is in the center, its a very good composition.

i don't really feel like it has to be textured at all,

It's a wonderful job. How about outlining the fire with a bright yellow tone?

hmmm... I like the idea of outlining and will have to try that out... once I reinstall Adobe CS4 -_-
(just upgraded to Win 7)

I've started darkening the nipples, but am finding hard to get the right tone grrr. I definitely agree with them being to bright though now that you've pointed it out Starshine.

Are you going to continue the shading and highlighting on the rest of him? It looks really good on the skin, but now the interior wings and the speedo look kinda odd without any varying colours.

But great job, he is adorable.

The wings aren't touched at all, other than a layer of shading and some flame lighting. I need to add tears to the interior which I have on my sketch but didn't get around to adding to the picture yet, and the panties will most definitely have something done to them, probably comical because I can.

CS5 comes out soon... that should be fun fun fun.
