In West House, creativity and intelligence were the most prized of all attributes. With a father in as high a rank as Chamberlain, Jing Zhi had a lot to try and live up to and a lot to learn. It was the latter that must come first, and was most important of all, he decided, and perhaps the former would follow somewhere along his pursuit. Knowledge, experience; but he was just a cub for now and his mind was not prone to linger on anything more than a few minutes at a time.
Today he had taken it into his head that he would be a poet. This was nothing unusual, as Jing Zhi fancied himself to be a lot of things with turn of each day. Once, he had been a warrior, and another time he had been a star-gazer. Some days he was training to be an expert lounger. Today, though, today he was a poet, and poets spun beautiful words together about nature and love! This was a problem, seeing as Jing Zhi quickly realized he didn't know very much about nature, and he didn't have the faintest clue about love. This left him very put-out indeed, at least for a moment. Whether he realized it or not, however, the Chamberlain's son was quite determined in his nature, and he would not allow this minor obstacle to stand in the way of his daily fun.
Instead, he would go researching. Starting out of his family den, the little white cub went about seeking something which he could become the utmost expert upon in the sense of poetry. With his head held high and his gaze swinging about, he looked... rather lost, to be honest. His blue eyes were very large and the tuft of pink that hung in his eyes made it look like he was peering out of a forest. He was rather round for a cub, too, and held a tottering, musing pace about him as he searched this way and that. Heavens above, anything would do! A flower! Anything he could sit down and study for a while!
