The lake would be the perfect place to rest her aching feet, but Faraa was feeling a little downcast about the whole thing even as she tentatively stepped into the shallows. She'd been prowling about each and every day, hoping to build her strength up overtime until, eventually, she was just as physically capable as any other member here.
Would her father notice, she wondered? The thought was enough to make her tail twitch with anxiety, and the lioness snorted gruffly at herself as though to chase off those feelings. Of course he'd notice, she'd just work harder if he didn't! She would be something to be proud of!
Still. Her ears drooped again, and the daughter of the Lord and Lady was looking miserable now. Would this ever get any easier? Her father was so brave, so powerful, and her mother was delicate, graceful creature that could probably melt the hearts of any male she looked at. Of that, Faraa was certain.
So where did she fit in this equation? She felt neither strong nor very bewitching. In fact, though she'd die before ever speaking these thoughts aloud to anyone besides her family, there were some days where she just didn't feel very... creative. Everyone seemed to have a talent or a gift. So what was hers? |

Mio was a lioness with restless paws. She never wandered too far, but she always thought it was best to be a constant presence within her house, especially for how large it had grown. Much of the members were young, along the age of her own daughters; and for this, she was glad. There was a future here, there was no more struggling to keep themselves safe and fed; their house was flourishing.
Still, there were times she wondered. And those worries fell to her daughters. Were they happy? Had she done the best she could? It was terrifying when they were young, and the Lady was amazed and thrilled that they had grown into beautiful ladies.
And speaking of.... "Faraa," Mio smiled, always using their more common names when it was an informal meeting. |

Mio was delighted wit her daughter's touch; it was always a mystery how they ended up with 6 of them, and all girls. Still, Mio felt like each one of them was such a vital part of her life, and she couldn't ask for it any other way.
"It might feel that way, there's always so much to do!" With the fact that their numbers had still grown a bit since she was born, Mio always felt like there were endless tasks that needed to be done. "I have been doing well..." she said, though she didn't want to state the little trouble between her and Faraa's father. There was always a little trouble, even if this time it was for an entirely different reason. "As well as one can be when she can't spend too much time with her beautiful daughter. Please, tell me, what have you been up to?"
