Cancer Awareness Programs/ Charities/ Donations

I'd really like to get a bunch of people together and do something to support cancer awareness. Like a march or something. Actually I much rather have like a photo shoot or some kind of artsy event since most of my friends are part of a Performing Arts Center. But I figure if the Performing Arts Center gets together and does something for Cancer Awareness not only does it give the center a good reputation but it would also be advertised and in turn also benefits and supports cancer awareness. So what I'm asking is, do you guys know ANY programs or maybe even numbers I can have to talk to someone about making something officially happen.

well, Idk about actually meeting-n-greeting people, sweatdrop but how about a skit put in Www.youtube.com with gaia charters? someone could write a script and people make some tektek gaiains? that would get some good views I think smile

....I'm not talking about gaia-related. I'm talking about setting something up in my home town with my IRL friends. I'm asking for sites that may have information on programs or office numbers so I can talk to the right people about this sort of thing.

Sorry I dont know offhand. I would suggest talking to local charaties and hospitals as well as the cancer society. I wish you luck its a great idea
