This is kind of stupid... but can you delete fences?

I'm trying to add a porch onto my house and I need to delete a fence to do so. Can you delete fences? If yes, how?

Yes, you can.

The same way you delete walls.

Hold down control, and drag away the wall!

can you delete floors, too?

yeah, just click on a type of floor tile, hold down ctrl and drag back, just like the fence.

Its the same drill for deleting most of the builds. hold down ctrl.

To remove a whole room of flooring at once you can select a piece of flooring then hold down control AND SHIFT before you click.

Yeah, but that only works within walls or fences...if you have a large unwalled area it doesn't.

Oh and to delete the fence, you might have to (I'm not sure) go into the Fence building bit in the miscellaneous building section.

Oops, I forgot that bit.
You can delete fences when you have the wall tool selected so you don't HAVE to go into the fences section of the catalogue.
