Balthier Cosplay, WIP

Whoo! It's been awhile since I've posted in here (my last post was my thread for my Fran cosplay). This time, it's not about me, but about my boyfriend! He has graciously agreed to be Balthier for my Fran cosplay, which is wonderful, because I was tired of having to pose and stand alone. xD

Now, it's still a work in progress, and there are things that we want to and know that we need to work on. But right now, we are rather pleased with it. x3

Things We Know That We Need To Work On

The collar. Oh lord, this terrible doily is gone! We have new lace, but I haven't added it to the vest yet.

The sleeves still need lace at the end. Again, not a hard fix.

The vest is a little stiffer than we'd like, but we could not afford the leather that we wanted to make it out of. One day, yes. Instead of using an old shirt, which would look like crap, we made it out of Craft Foam. For now, it looks good, I think.

The shoes still need a little more detailing, but like I said, it's a work in progress. At least I got the right shape in making them.

Thank you very much. I did help him quite a bit actually-- we both did bits and pieces on it. I mapped out and made the vest itself, but he painted it (mostly freehand too-- took forEVER).

I made the shoes, and he made the belts. He also made the bags at his hips, but he's not wearing them in this picture. xD

So we both did bits and pieces on it. :3
