Personality:
Lereth is a rather carefree individual in most times except where the survival of his Temple or the Lives of innocents are concerned. He constantly skips work (much to the annoyance of his councilors) to play games with the children or read. He often is found, late at night, drinking tea as he reads a book.
Lereth's ability to be trusted is beyond many. He has no secrets, and does not judge people. Lereth's ability to sense when someone is emotionally hurt has angered the councilors as well, as he often bursts out of meetings to comfort a crying passerby. His informality is amazing as well - he wears comfortable clothing, not anything that is fancy or flashy, even to special occasions.
Lereth's mind is not only play, however. Lereth is a shrewd and fair ruler, as well as a ruthless protector of his people. His strategic mind has won him many battles, although he rarely kills his enemies. He always takes a large amount of seriousness, if not with work, than with people. Anyone whose life seems to be falling apart usually comes to talk to Lereth.

Lereth came from a normal family in a village not far from the Southern Air Temple. His family was very much like everyone else, except they have all had a tiny amount of airbending. His grandfather was once a master airbender, and Lereth looked up to him, and was taught by him. As Lereth turned twenty, his grandfather died by natural cause of old age. After a few months of mourning, the Southern Air Temple's leader also died. As Lereth, although young, was one of the most proficient airbenders and one of the smartest minds in the Air Kingdom. He was chosen, at the age of 21, to become the Air Temple's head. He, after much deliberation and thought, came to accept the position, hoping that he would be a fair ruler and friend to his people.

Personality:
Sorcam is a very shy person. His shyness often keeps him away from very good opportunities. For example, if he was to be trained, the trainer would have to offer his skills. Sorcam's shyness isn't due to any kind of bad past - it was very much the same as many children across the world. His odd hair colour and eye colour caused children to pick on him, and so he retreated inside himself. Oftentimes, he will seem arrogant because he locks his emotions away, although he is far from it. Because of this, Sorcam's emotions overwhelm him and he becomes depressed often.

Sorcam's past is much like any outcast child of fourteen years. His small stature and ability to resist the stupidity of the masses singled him out for bullying and name-calling.
Using his immensely powerful willpower, and with the backing of close friends, Sorcam was able to put up a facade on the outside, which generally deterred his assailants.
It did not, however, phase the older, stronger children. They would often attack him in the hallways after some rumor spread throughout the school about him, for one reason or another. Instead of fighting, Sorcam usually ran.
Taking the initiative for once, Sorcam sought out a master of the martial arts. Fearing for his well-being, Sorcam learned Pai Qua Quan. This would save him several broken bones and bruises later on in life as confrontations became more dangerous.
One day, at the very school, during a time when he was pinned to the ground, Sorcam flipped out and, without thinking, somehow bended the water in the pond that the children were holding his head under. It didn't do much to hurt them, but the violent thrashing of the water scared them off. He would have died here from drowning (after passing out) had one of his teachers not decided to look out the window at that moment.
After that, Sorcam was enrolled into the water-bending academy.
