@gothangel12345: I agree with you. Everything on the news is pretty much bad/negative reports ranging from kidnappings to bombings or bombing attempts. It really seems like that the good in the world has vanished like a light and it is upsetting. Now about Religion, global warming and the 2012 theory...well, people are still in a rush to prove those and to believe them--because we really don't know what will happen in the future.
@ellional: I feel the same way here. The attitude people take to strangers is appalling. I'm in college and I still see people judging others by their looks--without even getting to know the person but yet, most of these people "friend" people on facebook when they really don't know them at all. It is like the only place that anyone can be friends is when a screen hides the face and the words hid the emotions intended with them. So, people feel that they have interacted too much and that physical interaction is unnecessary and this is troubling--without this physical, real communication we are becoming detached from out surroundings and the people in close range.
I really think that the world is in social decline and that people cannot take the time to be nice, give a polite hello or excuse me when necessary or hold a door open for someone who is struggling with a stack of things.
