Personality:Jin has a heart as big as his body. He can't stand the site of injury or sickness, so he's always been lending a hand to others. Jin is very kind and warm-hearted, a trait that's actually got him in trouble with life. Jin is easily amused by the simplest of things, like a leaf dangling from a tree branch. Unfortunately, he is also very gullible, be tricked into doing things he wouldn't normally do. He also can have severe mood-swings, going from happy-go-lucky into a blind rage of blistering fury in the blink of an eye.

go in depth: Born in the slums on the lower ring of Ba Sing Sae, Jin was always at the bottom of the food chain. His parents abandoned him at the age of 2, leaving him to be eaten by the dogs. Fortunately, when a renegade mother Shirshu ramapged through the slums, it picked up a young Jin, and raised him as her own. Jin was taught all the basics of living in the wilderness, from hunting to..well....hunting. When the mother Shirshu gave birth to a cub, the cub followed Jin around like a stray animal, aiding him on expeditions, and helping him fend in the wild. Soon, the mother Shirhsu was killed by poachers, and Jin and the would-to-be Eldridge escaped with their lives, and nothing more. At the tender age of 5, Jin had to face the whole world by himself. It would have been slaughter if it wasn't for a badger mole that took him in. The badger mole felt pity for the young boy, and became his second mother. The Badger Mole, oddly, taught him to read and write, as well as other basic skills in the human world. The Badger mole also taught him the prestigious art of Earth Bending. Jin seemed to be favored by Kiyoshi herself, Because Jhe had admirable skill with the arts. Jin grew up to be a fine young by, if it wasn't for the fact he had to pillage and hunt just to get his stomach full. On one of his daily thevings, he stumpled upon the Dai Li. They promptly arrested him on less severe charges, and threw him in jail. Yet again, that same Badger Mole came to his aid, digging him out of Jai, and setting him free. Jin feels as if he owes the Badger mole and infinite debt, so he literally searchs the whole Earth Kingdom for something to pay off the huge debt.
