Danshoku Kotonii erm. I think watashi wa ringo wo tabetai desu is right, because...it'd be taberu otherwise, tight? ^^; I'm new. I made sure to scroll down without peeking at the other answers because I'm so serious about learning. xDD Negative form: Arukimasen Past Tense: um..Arukimashita Negative Past Tense: ...I'm just going to guess. xDD I, er, Arukimasen..shita? No way that's right. >.< Verbs: Arimasu (to have, right?) Taberu (eat) Yomanai (read, right?) Mitai (watch?) ooh...I think that's all I have. T crying T Um, can I use Arukimasu? xDD Gomennasai, Sensei. TT.TT
Definitely a good start!
Negative Past Tense of "arukimasu" is "arukimasen deshita". So you were actually very close.
Your list of verbs IS a legitimate list of verbs, but they're not all in the same form... If I were to put everything in present, positive plain form, You'd have the following:
yomu - to read (yomanai means "did not read")
miru - to watch/see (mitai means "want to see/watch")

Arigatou, Sensei!
Okay, so when I read verbs, I should keep in mind that the basic form of it probably ends in "u"?
I'll try very hard to learn.
