Which do you prefer. Playing Sims on the PC or the PS2? I've never played Sims on the PC. I've always played it on the PS2. But, is it more fun playing on the PS2 or on the PC?

Well hang on just a minute there. What do you mean by "which is better, for the PC or PS2" (not exact quote, but basically the same).

The only thing that can really compare to the PS2 version is Life Stories, and I suppose the other "Stories" could compare to the other console games, in which case, I'm not sure which is better, but...

while playing TS2 on the PS2 was the first time I can recall playing TS2, and it was really fun with having to unlock items and clothes instead of getting it all at once, and being able to actually move the sims with the analog instead of having to click on what they wanted to use, and getting to put together recipes, yeah, all that was awsome, but TS2 for the PC is so much better.

You see, for the PC you can download custom content, and there are also a lot more interaction objects. Now, I'll admit that aside from being able to download custom content and having two or more storied houses and different age groups and such, I was a little disappointed with just the Double Deluxe for a while, but I learned to like it better, and as I got more EPs, it really doesn't compare. Especially if you get the EPs, I think TS2 for the PC is WAAAAAAAAY better. Now, if you're only playing something like Life Stories, I'm not sure, but judging from what I've read about it, I'd just as soon stick to the PS2 version.

from what little i understand about the sims 2 PS2...

definitely PC. waaaay more to do, and i kinda think it's just a computer game in general, given the point-and-click interactions.

my friends that come over and play the sims 2 PC for the first time usually say "holy geebus this is way better than what i was doing...."

but hey!! the sims 2 DS isn't like the sims games at all, and that's a pretty neat game. B) so limited, though. you can beat it, and it's over. you can't really win the sims 2 PC.
