He finally had his moment to prove himself. He had been wanting to for a while now and he finally found himself a moment to go and fight some one and joni the pride. He had been having the worst luck lately and was failing the other duels that he had tired in but now he wasn't going to let himself lose. With him growing closer and closer to Kibela he had finally had a moment to go and fight against some one. He wasn't going to let her down.
He had heard she was a pretty good warrior the only thing was that he was prepared. He wanted this more then anything. he looked at the large lioness as he approached him and then he gave her a short bow before speaking. "Lets get this started." He chuckled slightly going to let her have the first chance or for that matter giving some one the first strike for once. If she didn't takee this chance he was for sure.

Azar looked at the male taking in everything about him. She was very much curious into him. Shew as very confident in herself but she always checked out her opponents making sure that they weren't totally out there. she was feeling very good about herself and about this match at the moment. She had been so tired lately taking care of her cubs. She really was enjoying them however she really didn't want to give up her fighting so she was trying to get back into the swing of it.
She nodded to the male as she said that he was ready to start. She flicked her tail around behind her and then looked at him then started to run in his direction She reached out her paw and tired to swipe him however she failed. Not able to get a hit on him she growled at the idea not liking that fact already. Maybe she was a little too tired.

As he watched her move closer to him he as quickly as he could thought about what he was going to do. He grunted and took a step back as he looked at her she missed and he was kind of glad that it looked like he was going to get the first hit. He could say that he gave her the first shot and he missed it so it was time for him to give her her turn.
He snarled quickly and clamped down on her shoulder hiolding himself in a way where he woudln't be able to be knocked down by her.

Azar snarled as she felt the male hold on to his shoulder. One thing was for sure he had to know what he was doing. There was no question at all behind that. She snarled again and tired to get herself away from him. wiggling and moving trying to get his jaws from being locked around her as she tired not to hurt herself even more. It was painful and she wasn't used to it so it wasn't on her mind right away she was caring more about getting out of this position.

Iivari looked around trying to figure out what he was going to do next. He was always very much one who planned ahead with everything that he did. He quickly let go and watched the lioness as she twisted herself around to look at the wound he just left. He was really into it today. He quickly dashed his way to her other side andslapped it with a clawed paw making to to leave a bit of a mark on her. He quickly moved away to advoid the next hit that was heading his way.

She twisted her around quickly and went to swipe at the male again but she was starting to feel a little more tired. She was panting a little but she was going to be able to do it. Or she was pretty sure that she was going to be able to do it. She flicked her tail around a few times before trotting closer to him before swiping a paw at him again but again she failed. She was starting to feel even more tired.

Iivari growled as he ran forward and then headbutted her with a growl. His mind was set on what he was going to do. He watched her stumble and he had to pause for a moment and he checked to see if she was okay. He didn't want to compleltly hurt her he really didn't want to do that it wasn't his goal for the day he wanted into the pride though so he wasn't going to let her win.

She caught a second wind, and it wasn't only that but she also managed to see a spot where she could get a hit in for sure. She saw as he stumbled and checked if she was okay. She thought it was nice that he did that but at the same time she knew it was a fight and on top of that she wasnt' going to let him go just because he was being nice. It was a fight and all and she didn't want to lose just as much as he didn't want to. She reached a paw out and slapped him on the side in return.

He snarled at the feeling of a strike hitting his side he knew that the fight was getting close to the end even though he was doing pretty great in his eyes he knew that even with a few strikes that she gave him it was coming to an end. He turned around quickly landing one more harsh hit on her side.

Azar huffed adnt hen turned to him and landed one more smack she coudln't walk away with out the last hit however she was out of it. She needed to stop there was no more that she could do. she shook her head as she panted and then chuckled nodding at him. Before shaking her hair out getting the sand out of it. She looked at his with a smile then nodded. "Welcome to the pride." She chuckled slightly.
