Little but bright gold orbs were lit up in the back of the den. It was day time, however it was nap time. Kakek didn't enjoy nap time that much to tell the truth. It was something that he never really enjoyed. He was always wanting to be awake and see the world but when mom and dad were curled up in the front of the den and all of his siblings were piled on top of each other sleeping and drolling. No that wasn't the way Kakek rolled. He was to active to be sleeping right now.

So he pulled himself to his feet and started to wander to the front of the den. A sly smirk was on his face as he did. He looked at where his parents were as he moved around them before he started to trot onto the sand. His smirk was growing wider this was exciting to him. He enjoyed when he got chances to wander out of the den and make friends. He was going to get into trouble later but he didn't really care!

He looked around he knew where he was going. A little spot where there was almost always water. It was an oasis of sorts and he had been wandering to adventure this way by himself for a while. Sure he wanted there with his parents but to him it was always a different thing when he got to do things by himself. A smirk was on his face as he wandered toward the oasis, flicking his tail around as he walked toward the water's side leaning over and lapping some of them up. Now if there was something to do.

Something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. A figure of something it was on a rock. He wasn't sure what it was though. He crouched to the ground and started to wander toward the rock. A smirk that was growing on his face he had a great plan on his mind he was going to catch what ever furry monster the little thing way. He got as close to the rock before launching forward and then pouncing on it. He bit down on it a few times before pausing... It was a tail.

Oh no.

As the sun beat down on her fur, Enya'suri couldn't help but to narrow her eyes in pleasure. Oh, she had just found out the juiciest piece of information the other day and boy, she couldn't wait to see the look on Lana's face when she found out! To think that she had missed her little sister's comings and goings as nothing more than mere play.

If there was something she enjoyed more fighting, it was getting the edge on one of her siblings. And Lana just seemed like the perfect victim too. It did also help that her huria siblings were gone now. Their departure didn't make her sad in the least bit, in fact, she was glad to have them gone! They were a sight that made her growl in disgust.

Completely content with herself and sunning in the bright desert sun, her tail flicked slightly to and fro without knowing that a little cub was stalking up behind her. No sooner had her tail moved did she feel something weigh it down.

She whipped around and snarled angrily, whatever touched her would have to pay! Her ears were flatten against her head as her eyes were narrowed to slits before they landed on a cub. What was she now? A play toy?! She brought her paw up to whip her tail away from the offending cub, "My tail is not a toy!" She hissed.

Kakek froze, he had no clue how the creature was going to react. He knew it was a lion and he knew that it was a firekin and oohhh firekins would get mad at things like that. He closed his eyes for a moment half hoping for it to be a some what understanding firekin. That would be nice. That would be really nice that would be amazingly nice. However Kakek wasn't exactly as lucky as he wished he was. He in fact happened to pick the opposite of that. It seemed like he picked the most unfriendly lioness ever!

He looked at the female a little surprised before scampering back, before puffing out his chest. He was slightly scared that he picked to pounce on a not so nice lioness who wasn't that happy to see him. But he wasn't going to be scared he was a brave lion who could take on anything! His mother was a strong lioness and so was his father and that means that he was too! "Maybe you shouldn't leave your tail laying out like a play toy!" He huffed to the lioness as he flopped back on his haunches and looked at the lioness and arched a brow. "What are you doing you doing out here?" He puffed out as he asked his uestions. He talked as if he was at least four or five times his size. He was in fact a very large lion for his age, he was the largest of his litter and he sure was proud of his size.

As she had started the cub slighty, Enya couldn't help but feel slightly proud of herself. At least she could say that she was scary to cubs! Not that it was a real accomplishment, but she didn't want to seem like a welcoming lioness for everyone to come over and be all buddy-buddy with either. The little cub's comment was purely innocent and slightly irrational, in that her tail was attached to her so it went where she did. But, she didn't feel like wasting the energy in pointing that out. Besides, would the cub even get it? Why waste that precious energy on trivial matters.

Though, her eyebrow shot up slightly as she kept her gaze on him. He surely didn't act like her younger siblings...a bit more older than his age, perhaps. She looked him over, his markings and colors were not familiar to her. He wasn't from anyone that she or her family knew, that she was sure of.

As he puffed up with some newfound self-confidence, she pointed a paw towards him, "Shouldn't you be with your parents? The desert isn't very nice to cubs, you never know what could happen."

She unsheathed a claw and dragged it along the sands, quite happy with events from the other day. Telling the cub wouldn't do her any harm, would it? She eyed him once again before answering his question, "Before I was rudely disrupted," At this she narrowed her eyes, "I was thinking about all the plans I have for my little sister."

Kakek looked at the lioness flopping down on his haunches sitting on his tail. He huffed and sat up a little bit making sure that he wasn't sitting on his tail anymore. He puffed out his chest and tired to make it looke like he could take on anything including what ever this lioness was going to say to him or for that matter anything that was coming his way. Even if he needed to he was willing to run. He knew that the lioness was a lot bigger then him. Even though he was pretty huge.

"No I shouldn't be." He huffed slightly at the idea. To him he shouldn't be, he didn't want to he didn't want to be sleeping. "It's 'nap time' nap time is really stupid." He huffed puffing out his chest a little more once more before looking at the lioness. "Naps are really stupid. And I can take on the desert! I'm a firekin! In fact my grandpa is Kidondo, he's the regent." He had to make sure to throw that in he wanted to make sure that the lioness knew who he was.

He then looked at the lioness curiously. He arched a brow at her very curious into what she was about to say. "What are those plans?" He asked like it was totally his business. He was curious, a very curious lion and this lioness was tlaking about plans. "You know you should tell me. I might be able to help you." He said slyly. He was curious about plans he wanted to get involved in aynthign that could cause trouble.

The cub's boldness caught her interest. At least he didn't seem like a weakling like the majority of her siblings. She spat at them in her mind. She wanted nothing to be associated to them. And grandson to the current regent, well ain't that grand. "Then you'd better do nothing to make your grandfather disappointed with you."

As she saw the cub's curiosity, she couldn't help but to smirk as she replied nonchalantly, "Oh, a little couldn't do much harm now could you..." Her voice trailed off slightly as she held a large grin from ear to ear on her face. "I have to see how to go about doing this, as I'm sure this is some of the best news I've found out for a while."

Kakek puffed his chest out shaking his head at the idea. "I'm more than sure that he is proud of me. It was an idea to him. He knew his grandfather was proud of him. He was really sure... He thought he was anyway.. He chased the ideas out of his mind he was a strong firekin and his grandfather was proud of him. "He loves me and the rest of my siblings, because we are strong firekin like he is. In fact my name means Grandfather's fire." He puffed out his chest a little more he was proud of himself a lot.

He stretched his paws out a little more before nodding to the female. "Really?" He asked as he moved a little closer to her, he was VERY curious about what she was going to say. "I love good news, and I love getting others in trouble." He said with a bright grin his sharp and white teeth showing off with the wide grin. "Oh come on just tell me! I'm more than sure that I can help you if you want! Just tell me." He demanded a little more he dug his claws into the ground,, he really wanted to know what she was about to say. She hated this suspense.
