[PRP] Skill and Strength Will Come (Kanie, Jiro)

Kanie was bored. Mother was out somewhere in the unvanish place as she often seemed to be. Satomei and Hikari were sleeping, and her brother simply wasn't as much fun when he wasn't awake. Granted, he wasn't that much fun then either, he hardly seemed to know how to play properly but he was better than being bored.

Perhaps she would return to the unvanish place again, see if she could find anything new. That large notmother that had put her back in the den probably wasn't there now, there had been a lot of room in the unvanish place and she doubted he would be waiting outside. Mother would have chased him off like she did the first one who came to visit.

Her paws much steadier than the first time, the small black hybrid rose and began making her way towards the entrance of the den. There was much more to the world than this place, she wanted to know what it was.

Jiro could see someone heading towards the doorway of their den - the 'unvanish place' as his siblings seemed to have deemed it - and the cub slowly rose to usher them back inside. Mother didn't like them going out and he didn't really want to have to hear her scold yet again.

Thinking it was Hikari, the cub bounded to the front of their home to nudge him back inside. He was very surprised to see, instead of his pale and pink brother, his dark little sister. "Kanie in." he told her firmly, running to stand in front of the younger female and try to chase her back. "No out."

Kanie's lips peeled back in a snarl as her plans were thwarted. Sabatoge. From her other older brother. Hikari was more fun to 'play' with, at least he was squeaky. Jiro was just annoying. But while he might be a smidge bigger than she was, he wasn't faster. She'd been practicing walking while the rest of them were busy learning words.

Her paws were still clumsy as she darted to the side, her steps fumbling but coordinated enough to carry her cubby body towards the exit to the den. It was boring here. She wanted out, and Jiro was so not going to stop her.

Kanie may have more speed, but Jiro had more skill, having to practice walking and balance a lot to get away from her and the others when it was time to 'play'. He may not be able to catch the small female when she was sure of her feet, but for now, stumbling about on little cubby paws, he could give better chase.

Eventually, Jiro dove forward to tackle her, trying to use her own fumbling to his advantage. Hit her off balance at the right moment and Kanie would go down.
