I personally hated how during its air time on [Adult Swim] everyone became a pseudo-intellectual thinking that they had some sort of merit because they were watching an anime that was a huge game of cat and mouse between a guy with a killer notebook and the investigators trying to stop him. I mean, I enjoyed the moral conflict at the beginning when Light had to choose between being damned to create a utopia or being indolent and letting the world wallow in its own sin, but you can only make so much out of the tricks and gambits they used in it.

Light was too ******** short-sighted. Why wouldn't he have exploited the inherent rule of having your name written seven times equaling no death via ANY Death Note? If he did that, he wouldn't have had to die from Ryuk or had to fear Misa at all and just used her like the airheaded b***h she was. He could've easily just gotten seven random people to write his name down in the book after telling them the incorrect kanji for it.

It frustrates me that he didn't look at all rules to properly exploit them.

I like death note, it has a nice plot and captivates you, has a lot of details and it really is one of the best manga ever. I liked mostly ch0 which was also the one short with which the authors debuted, it's the most interesting - mostly because of the last page.. purely brilliant. 4laugh

Love Death Note, one of my favorite manga of all time smile I was so sad when L was killed!! He was my favorite...Light was really smart, but i like L better, for what he stood for and everything. Plus he's amazing in L Change the World xD
