Mismatched paws moved against the terrain of the Aikanaro'hini lands - an odd sight, really. The dog was blinding against the others of the pride of dark muscular lions that could tear him to pieces in a matter of seconds,

The slight creature didn't worry, however. One of those dark muscular lions that could tear him to pieces in a matter of seconds was close by, an it comforted him - his master, who was actually quite kind, if to only him and rarely anyone else. And today - he was allowed to just roam. It was quite a nice day, in fact, with a beautiful breeze flowing. They were close to the edge, but no quite outside of the lands.

The mismatched white-red paws stretched forward, and a grin displayed across the dogs maw. He loved the feeling of wind through his fur. It was exciting.

The days had treated Lela well. While she hadn't seen hide nor hair of her family in quite some time, she was content. She'd gotten to travel quite a bit in the past few months, and had gathered quite a few rare and valuable gems and metals. Those she'd kept carefully stashed in her den, although she carried around a few stray stones in a leather pouch around her neck.

Her paws carried her forward, nose pressing along the ground in a leisurely search for more raw materials. She was fairly focused on said search until a scent on the wind caught her attention. Another Wild Dog? But there was an overwhelming scent of lion...

Curious, she followed the scent, ears perked forward. She didn't want to run into any lions so close to a pride. She had no way of knowing if they were friendly or not! But she simply had to figure out what this Wild Dog was doing here.

Koin blinked. He could feel the wind shift slightly. He had studied the wind for as long as he could remember, which didn't extend into his pup-hood years. Years that he couldn't remember for the life of him. Nevertheless, he turned his head, looking for the source of the wind's disruption. He could hear the subtle shifts, but he couldn't quite see what caused it.

That is, until he saw a black shape moving across his vision. Another lion? He didn't know if the guard detail was on duty in this area. It could be a returning lioness from breeding, for a male would have cubs with him if he was successful.

He stared intently, eyes failing in place of his strong ears. He would just have to wait for the figure to come closer.

It was only a few more moments before Lela saw the source of the scent, and her head popped up rather quickly. A rather striking white shape was just a bit farther away from her, and her tail wagged slightly at the sight. A quick glance around told her that there were no immediate threats, and she trotted the rest of the way over to the other Wild Dog.

"Hello there!"

Koin was surprised when a darkly colored female dog, he gave a small yip in greeting and wagged his tail. He hadn't seen another dog in so long, and needless to say, he was quite excited. "Hello~" He said in response.

Lela was quick to return the yip, her own tail wagging excitedly. It felt like it'd been ages since she'd seen another Wild Dog! As soon as she was in range of the other, she trotted forward to curiously sniff at his nose, tail stilling briefly. He smelled overwhelming like lions. Did he live with them or something? "I'm Lelakivuli!"

Koin's eyes crossed a bit when she trotted up to him - she unsurprisingly smelt like dog, earth, and precious wind. "M'names Koin," he responded. He felt sort of... Puppyish around this new dog. He gave a grin before tilting his head. He paused and frowned.

This place smelt like lions with undertones of danger to a dog. The lions were absolutely huge, and the danger sometimes permeated the air thickly. What made this female come into the lands and he felt his heart rate rise in almost panic. "What brings you so close to a lion pride?" he asked, ears flicking to where he saw his master last. He didn't want her to leave yet, but he was unwilling to put her in any danger.

"I'm looking for stones for my crafting. I heard that there was an inactive volcano in this area - perfect for finding lava rock!" Lela explained lightly, ears twitching back at the scent that wafted from the lands. It made her slightly uneasy, but not enough to leave the other to face it alone!

Seaki
Koin blanched. The volcano? He had never personally been the volcano. Only the priests and royalty were allowed, and those on their naming quest. His master had been, but never him. The closest he even dared to venture was his master's den where he slept, unless errands called for it.

"You shouldn't go further in than this," he warned, glancing to the inland. The dens were visible fro here, however distantly, but he blamed his bad eyes. He didn't know how a normal dog saw, but things blurred closer to him then they used to. "Its not safe..." he breathed out
