Plz help, Custom Content not working :(

okay so custom content was working perfectly before i installed Sims 2 fun with pets...now when ever I try to install custom content a pop up shows up that says “windows cannot access the specified device, file, or path. you may not have the appropriate permission to access the item."

please if anyone knows what this means or how to fix it, please tell me....

Which operating system are you using? You could try using this if you have Windows XP. I'll edit with more info as I find it.

Edit: I found this thread, which may be of some use to you. I also found this one, but it doesn't seem to have much info on the problem.
