Shikai
When sealed the blade takes on a huge difference from it's unsealed stage. The blade becomes extremely elongated and hulking, heavy would be an understatement. It is all black and looks like some type of new age machinery. Chains dangle off it's sides and a large star is imprinted upon it's underbelly. The armor on the weapon becomes extremely thick, simply carrying the blade around is a heavy burden to it's user. It becomes attached to the arm, latching on to and attaching itself to the shoulder of it's wielder. It's knew appearance isn't just for show and if this by itself is the Shikai one must think of how monstrous his bankai is.
The true ability of Kanijigetshusho is Reshi empowerment. The chains on the back slowly draw in Reshi from the air as the user battles. With each strike the star on the underbelly of the weapon fills up --3 Strikes Equal 1 Star--. When the star is full the reshi stored is sent through the rest of the weapon in a direct fashion, it then taking on it's first true ability. While in this "Star Power Mode" the blade of Kanijigetshusho is extremely dangerous. It cleaves through reshi like butter which means Kidou based attacks/Defense/ will be cut through easily. The cutting power of the blade is also enhanced. When attacking spiritual pressure is applied to the edge of the blade, giving it the ability to cut through almost anything. The star power lasts for the amount of strikes struck and after it is used it must be recharged, starting it's ability over.
Bankai
Bankai is nothing like shikai and Kanijigetsusho makes that statement known. The bankai of the blade gives the user characteristics of the inner spirit, an entire appearance make over. The hair is changed to black, a dark jacket with a star on it is now the only thing the user wears as a top. The shingami bottoms remain the same but on the abdomen many scars have formed, each from the hardships Demon has faced in his life. The blade is drastically altered, no longer is it large and hulking. Rather, it has become a one handed head cleaver. It is tinted a deep black and it's handle is without a hilt. Finally, the eyes have changed to a deep onyx. The left eye is aflame with reiastu, most likely from the inner spirits ability.
The Bankai of this blade can reflect on the 2nd divisions prime prowess for stealth and assassination. The true ability of Kanijigetshusho is reshi manipulation, not so much empowerment. This new form comes with amazing new abilities, one of them is the eye lite aflame with Reshi. This eye can be said to have the ability of true conception, being able to peer into an enemies attack and find it's weak points almost instantaneously. It may also be used to find the fault in most anything. Hand to hand combat is extremely difficult when fighting an opponent with the ability to use your faults against you. Also, the eye comes with a lasting ability of true sight. In darkness the eye can see perfectly and it cannot be blinded by any means. These new abilities are just the threshold of powers Demon acquires.
Reshi manipulation and empowerment also comes with a boosting of speed. Demons entirely new appearance is made from Reshi and by polarizing the energy used Demon can slip through Reshi streams far easier than others. This makes Demons movements extremely hard to keep up with but he does have his weak point. When moving at those speeds Demon must slow down in order to attack, defend, Etc. Even though it may only be for a split second and the slow down isn't much it is still enough to be called a fault in Demons book.
From his previous form of Star power this new stage uses the same simplistic ideal only on a new level of power. The jacket now takes in the star power ability, every time Demon makes a strike his jacket's star fills up on reshi from the enemy. Like before, when the 3 strikes make a single star the power of his Bankai is shown. The star power leaks out onto the blade in a sort of coating and the sword now becomes an extremely dangerous cleaver. A small nick on the shoulder can rip segments from your body and with that most reshi based defenses are ineffective against him. The blade bends reshi around it to cause more damage when it comes in contact with a spiritual being. This is the true power of Demons Bankai and none have survived seeing it.

Abilities:
Personality: Goofy, strange, loud, pure, stern. Demon is someone who just doesn't fit with the 2nd division. Some question why he was placed as his entire personality conflicts with the way the second divisions laws are upheld.
Bankai Personality: Bold, uncaring, merciless, deadly, foreboding, dark. When demon takes on the attributes of his spirit he also takes on her mindset. This is one reason why Demon dislikes using his bankai, simply because he no longer is himself. Now he becomes what the second division is looking for, a pure assassin doing the job he is assigned without a lick of emotion.
Biography/History: Demon recalls nothing from his human life. Name, personality, birth date, everything was deleted when his soul passed over. Now when he came over to Soul Society he was automatically asked to join the academy because of his high amount of spiritual energy. His time in the academy was well spent and Demon was soon sent on his merry way to a squad. This is where most of Demons memories were comprised from. He met many new friends and became a extremely good fighter from his training. This is also where he met the current 7th Division Captain Krin Kenpai and how he became a vice-captain.
After spending a long time in the second division Demon was asked to become the vice-captain of Krin when he became the seventh division captain. Honored Demon gladly accepted and with Krin learned many new things. His power continued to grow by Krins side and as a Vice Captain Demon mastered his Bankai. With that all said and done Krin had to step down for a bit, he was given a heavy mission of urgency in which he would be absent for many days to come. Demon took over temporary captain-ship of the 7th and there he began to learn about Hakuda. With the time he was captain Demon created his own type of Hakuda called "Tenko (Force Palm)". It used precise movements and crushing blows to battle opponents. Demon was soon given the name of "The captain with no blade." simply because he used only his hands to fight.
After awhile Krin did indeed return and Demon handed his division over but around the same time the captain of the second division had been defeated by a hollow. Needing a new captain to fit into the 2nd division Demon went under masterful training in order to fit the divisions standards. Now he has finished his needed work and has taken up captain-ship of the 2nd.
Signature/Patented Technique:
Tenko--Incomplete-- (Force Palm): Using mastered Reshi manipulation the user learns how to create a fighting style which incorporates precise movements and deadly strikes with only his bare hands. By hardening the reshi around his arms Demon creates two twin blades of sorts and much like blades his arms become extremely sharp. This style mostly deals with stabbing and cutting but can also be used for defensive measures. This was passed along to him by learning from Krin about Hakuda and he has yet to even perfect it.
Sairento Tenko --Completion--(Silent Force Palm): Through constant development of his skills and training with his latent love Solange, Demon has finished his training with the uses of force palm and turned it into a real style to be reckoned with. Unlike his previous usage of the technique Demon now combines his Tenko with the technique Shunko, creating a powerful hand to hand combat style which can crush almost any barrier. This new way of fighting deals with not only the arms but the entire body as the power from shunko is compressed even further than normal. It can be compared to wind compression, how when put in a small space the power is amplified almost ten-fold. It deals with fluid movements, mostly the body being used to 'push' an opponent rather than actually hit them.
Kairopo (Pulse Step): Demons own much more powerful version of shunpo. By using reshi from the air and compressing on the legs the user is able to traverse at an even higher amount of speed. Being that Demon is naturally a reshi manipulator he can actually slip through reshi, making his own body less resistant thus increasing his stepping ability to an entirely new level. This technique was first performed in a battle with Solange during their long training session many years ago.
Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuukuzuryuusen Style: This is a style of swordsmanship learned when Demon was in the second division many years ago and was promptly mastered during his training with Krin. This style uses barely any real movement, completely having the user mostly stationary until the last moment. When the opponent comes within range the user will move instantly, using a combination of shunpo and natural Zanjutsu for their movements. This makes the attacks extremely quick paced and hard to deal with, to the point where the opponent is overwhelmed by only basic movement. The user however doesn't exhaust because of the pure simplicity of their strikes. Those who learn this style must be a complete master of both shunpo and Zanjutsu to use it effectively.
