Unfortunately for me, my skin is really sensitive so I don't use over the counter acne medications. I just use an exfoliating cream and hydrogen peroxide for emergencies. If my blemishes aren't that obvious, I use a plain bar of dove soap to wash my face. My poor nose suffers the most from acne and acne scars.
If you do have acne scars, I recommend using cocoa butter. It'll even out your skin tone
