Good RPGs for Playstation 2

I made a thread about zombie movie suggestions... How about suggestions for good playstation 2 RPG games?

I really like the Final Fantasy series (7-10 especially) but I've played X-2 and XII also (and parts of the first two, but the graphics aren't pleasing, and that puts a damper on things...)

I've played a lord of the rings RPG and kingdom hearts... what else is there? I've been looking at reviews for Dragon Quest and Xenosaga, but I'm not sure about them...

* PS2
* RPG
* preferably good graphics
* preferably not too many long cut-scenes, unless the story is really good.
(e.g. Final Fantasy X - cut scenes were okay. Final Fantasy XII - BORING! Too many cut scenes that I could not care less about...)

Hm I own Xenosaga 1 and 2 are they seem hard to me....although the last time I played either one I was quite young. The graphics on the first one are alright. The second one is better obviously because it came out later.

I love Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.....The graphics are good well they are no KH or FF but not many things on the PS2 are. Dark Cloud 2 is pretty fun.....for some reason I can think of many others at the moment.

Thanks. biggrin I'll look up reviews for some of them. I know I've played Star Ocean before. My friend has it. I never finished it...

The first Xenosaga was only $2.45 + shipping on half.com, so I just got it. If I don't like it, I can re-sell it. ^_^

Hmmm... The Dark Cloud one looks interesting... If I don't like the Xenosaga one, maybe I'll try it. ^_^

Its pretty fun....so long as you do things right. King played it for a long time and when he got to the end he couldn't get something cause he passed it and he quit.

Hmm.... Not sure if it counts as an RPG, but the Persona series is amazing! Persona 3 FES is my favorite. Persona 4 is a bit weird, and harder to play. Graphics are okay. MAYBE as good as KH2, but not quite. Ummm... It doesn't have really good graphics, but another fun RPG is Arc The Lad. It's kinda weird, and a bit fantasy-ish. But it's good.
(and FF XII is the bomb! I love Ashe and Baltheir.)

I'm so bad at FF XII good god never knew I could suck so bad.

I forgot about Ys is good and so is Beyond Good and Evil!!!! That game is totally awesome!

I recommend Dirge of Cerberus (xD I'm a big vinny fan heart )

Uhmm.. I also like Shadow of the Collosus even though the end angered me xD

And all the Sly Cooper games (Sly:band of theives etc. they were very addicting~)

Can't think of any others off the top of my mind right now, but I have alot of PS2 games xD

My sister had Dirge of Cerberus, and she sold it without asking me if I wanted it! I do want to play it some time. I had forgotten about it.
