Whatever angst Anahita felt over her mixed parentage, she didn't express it as she followed her brother in an attempt at stealth. Of all her siblings (and there were a lot of them), the little leopon felt the closest to Haytham and in efforts to stave off loneliness took to following him around most days.
She followed him onto the branch with some difficulty, their mother's leopard grace less evident in her than in her brother, and gave him a nudge.
"What are we doing today?" she asked, her bright pink eyes narrowed in inquiry. Oh, she saw. He looked sad.
"Tham," she asked, draping herself over the branch beside him, kicking at the air, "What's wrong?"
