Girl looking at her window, wondering if everything was real. Three days ago, she had just won her basketball game by a point. she had been the one to dunk the ball into that high-up hoop. To hear that buzzer go off in the last second of the game. To hear that swoosh noise as the ball went through the basket. The team picking her up and cheering as the score board read 14 to 13.
None of it seemed real to this girl. Three days ago, she had heard there had been a shooting near the school. And her father being one of the several victims.
She recieved even more news today after that one question test. Yes or no? Unfortunately she passed with the answer yes. Taking the test several times, the answer came out the same. Never failing a test was just this girls luck. This young sixteen year old girl, that had her life planned out, wanted more than anything to have failed. But life doesn't work for favors.
Well, at least not for this girl. No. Just her father going blind from the shooting and her being pregnant from a one night stand, while she was a little drunk. Her future now down the drain and no one to run to for help.
