Classic Google Image Searching

I figured this could use it's own topic.

Now, I don't know about anyone here, but recently Google changed their image search engine and it's really annoyed me a lot. Not only is it laggy, but it loads pages backwards instead of in order. So if you scroll down to page 2, it loads it and sets it as page 16 or something. Obviously it's annoying and I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

Well, I got fed up enough with a lack of improvement to go and find solutions to this. Turns out, there always was a solution on the Google search. If you scroll down to the bottom of any first search, it will have a list of text links and one of them will be Classic Google Image Search or something to that effect. However, this only fixes it for the time you're using it. Come back again and you have to click this every time.

Another solution is to install a script into Grease Monkey, an add-on for Fire Fox. This will automatically "click" it for you every search.

I just thought I would let others know, since this always bothered me. Most people here probably already know this or could easily get to it, but I just cut out the searching. razz

Do you know of a better search engine?

I know of one that I haven't used much that doesn't save your searches and deletes them. It's Ixquick: http://www.ixquick.com/

May change if the EU has their way though.
