Thuraya watched as the other three banu greeted the new commer, she could tell that both Kifa and Amara wanted to comfort the new comer just as she did. When Koko spoke Thuraya was almost unable to hide her shock. She looked from Koko the Ama and back to Kwea. She didn't want to be the only one that was going to take a step out but Thuraya's motherly instincts couldn't be surpressed. It was hard for her not to go to the young cub.
Finally Thuraya rose to her feet and looked at Kwea for permission, she began to move towards the young pink banu. "My dear you need to stop that now and learn how to be a good banu, no more tears we are a family here." Thuraya's words were stern but kind, this cub was going to have to learn her place and fast. Kwea wasn't going to put up with this nonsense very long, and Thuraya didn't want to reinforce it by soothing her but at the same time she hoped if the cub received some comfort she might settle down and stop being rediculous. She nuzzled the small cub.

Kwea purses his lips and nudges Nesrin towards Thuraya. He could see the mild mannered little female wanted to love the young pink female, he would allow it, Thuraya was probably his sweetest banu, or at least the most sensitive to other females angst.
The big male glances at Koko, narrowing his eyes, he knew he could and probably should swat Koko for speaking out of place but he simply growled. "She will learn quickly. I do not appreciate the crocodile tears."
He licks his pale lips and looks between each of the other females, he could see that Amara and Kifa had questions on their tongues but he would not answer them now. "Take her in, keep an eye on her around MY cubs" He put an emphasis on the 'MY', not that he didn't care about Amaras youngsters but they were older now and he felt that they were old enough to keep themselves safe around Nesrin.
He lowers his head again to speak to Nesrin. "I will be back later. We will speak alone." He growls standing and looking between each of the other females, bowing his head just a little in appreciation, granting eah of them their own adoring smile, before turning away and trotting off, his tail lashing back and forth.

Nesrin lowered her eyes in shame. Hearing Koko talk about her that way, as if she wasn't even there, made her feel less welcome than anything Kwea had done. Thuraya's words were of no help. How could she help her own feelings?! She tried not to cry, she really did, but the sadness that welled up inside her was so great that she could not contain it. She swallowed hard.
When Kwea spoke to her she lifted her head slightly and nodded to show she understood, though the fur stood up all the way down to her tail. She knew she must have done something to upset him. But what? How could she have done anything different?
Nesrin didn't know. None of this seemed fair. Nothing in her life ever seemed fair. After Kwea left Nesrin lifted her head just enough to survey the females around her. Her mouth opened and closed uselessly, unable to find the words to say, and she looked at her paws again. Even the kind words of Kifa and Amara were tainted by Koko's bitterness and Thuraya's stern tongue. She felt unwanted, rejected and hated, yet claimed to serve forever under these negative feelings. What was she supposed to do? Who could she turn to?

Amara was gutted by the expression on the youth's face. She remembered feeling that helpless at times when she was younger, and while she didn't understand Kwea's actions, nor would she question him.. it didn't seem right to her.
"Lets go back inside," she murmured to the other Banu. "We should introduce Nesrin to the cubs, hmm?" That being said she lifted a paw to tap Koko lovingly on the nose before moving into the den. She expected them all to follow her as Beybanu.

Kifaranga did not follow Amara right away she moved towards Nesrin and gently touched he face to the small banu. "Come on you can meet my cubs, and it would make me very happy if you....." She paused lifting her head to look at Nesrin's familiar who was standing off to the side. "And your friend would rest close to me. Maybe I can sing you a song, if you like?" Kifa offered before lifting her head and moving back towards the den.
